- Kalia's POV -

Kalia: "Wasn't that the guy you went crazy about?"

Bryce: "I was hoping you forgot, but yeah. He has a daughter your age. Her name is Casie."

Kalia: "Okay."

~ time skip to tommorw ~

Bryce drops me off. A man with blonde hair opens the door. They talk for a while. A girl with very curly hair comes out behind him.

??: "Hi I am Casie. You can come inside." I take off my shoes and step in. Casie leads me to her room.

Casie: "So what is your name?"

Kalia: "Kalia and I love your hair."

Casie: "Thanks! Wait. Could I do your hair?" I look at her.

Kalia: "Of course. I always had to do it myself! It would be nice for you to do it." I sit down and she grabs her hair supplies. Brushes, hair spray galore.  

Kalia: ''What should I call your dad?"

Casie: "his real name is Colson Baker so something around that."

Kalia: "Ok." A few minutes later hear Colson open the door.

Colson: "I see you guys are busy." I turn my head to look at him, but apparently that messes up whatever Casie is doing. She shoves my head back in place.

Kalia: "Ow!" I put my hand on the side of my head.

Casie: "Sorry, keep your head straight." She continues doing whatever she is doing.

Kalia: "I never knew she was this harsh."

Colson: "This is why I never let her do  my hair."

Casie: "I thought it was because you had short hair."

Colson: "It is.... anywho. What do you girls want for dinner?''

Casie: "Kalia, do you like Mac and Cheese?"

Kalia: "Of course!"

Colson: "I will make that for dinner then. (Wtf was that line)" He leaves and Casie finishes my hair. She French braided it.

Kalia: "it is so pretty!" I am afraid to touch it in case I will mess it up.

Casie: "What should we do next?"

Kalia: "You wanna prank my dad or brothers when they come to pick me up?"

Casie: "What should we do?" I whisper in her ear my idea.

Kalia: "We could get your dad to help."

Casie: "He loves pulling pranks and making jokes."

Kalia: "Lets do it then." We head downstairs and tell Colson about it.

Casie: "And that is how we are gonna prank them."

Colson: "Oh. That is gonna be sick!" We head back to Casie's room and talk.

Casie: "If you feel comfortable, what happened to your family and why is Bryce so protective."

Kalia: "It is fine. When I was 4, my parents were murdered in front of me. When I was 8, I was in my plane crash and killed everyone but me. Then Sebastian tried to kill me a ton of times to get back at Bryce. Blah Blah  Blah. Almost died twice. Bryce's old gf hit me. What about you?"

Casie: "Oh wow. Uhm, my mom and dad had me when they were 18. My mom couldn't take care of me so I never see her anymore really. My dad just wants to keep me out of the spotlight. Nothing as exciting as you."

Kalia: "Sorry you don't get to see your mom."

Casie: "I just wish sometimes I had a full time mom figure in my life."

Kalia: "What about when your dad dates."

Casie: "I mean yeah. But they come and go. I have warmed up to Megan and my dad seems really happy with her. I hope they don't break up."

Kalia: "Aw. Do you have a phone?"

Casie: "Yeah why?"

Kalia: "We could get each other's numbers."

Casie: "Oh yeah! I forgot about that." She takes out her phone.

Kalia: "My number is ###-###-####." 

Casie: "I am going to text pink donkey."

Kalia: "Why pink donkey?" I say half laughing. She starts laughing too.

Casie: "If I say hi, then it could be anyone but if I say pink donkey, you know it will be me." We laugh and pink donkey comes through my phone.

Kalia: "Okay I got it." I chuckle a bit.

- Bryce's POV -

I walk into Hype and I see Thomas the train. (Sry I had to)

Bryce: "LETS  FUCKING PARTY!" I yell and the party begins. Drinks are passed around, people are dancing, and couples are making out. But all I can think about is Kalia.

What is she doing right now

Was I wrong for adopting her

How can I say that?

I love her more than anything in the world 

If Jaden isn't happy about that, screw him

I am ripped out of my thought by a brunette female.

??: "Hey." She says flirtatiously. She puts her hands on my arm.

??: "I am Darianka."

Bryce: "And I am not interested." I pull my arm away. 

Darianka: "Didn't have to be so rude. Why are you even here if u don't wanna hook up?"

Bryce: "To hang out with my friends." 

~ time skip to after the party ~

I drank some but not to much because I have to pick up Kalia because Colson has to take Casie to a doctor's appointment early in the morning so she can't sleepover. I hop in my car and head back to Colson's house.

- Kalia's POV -

I hear Bryce's car pull into the driveway.

Kaila: "He is here." Casie smiles evilly. Colson comes into the room

Colson: "Ready girls?"

Kalia: "Yup."

Operation prank Bryce must now commence.
