Paths (Juminxreader) Part #9

The week passed faster than what you thought. Between the work, your home and now the party, the last this you could do is waste time.

You're fixing and cleaning your aparment, trying to fin a place to all the mess you haven't fixed since he asked you to broke up.

While you're moping the floor, your phone rings in the other side od the living room. You walk to pick up the call but in that instant you slip and fall really hard on your butt. Whe you finally answer in the other side of the phone you can recognize that voice.

"Good evening. I hope you've been prepared for the next three months. They'll be harsh but I trust you as Jihyun trusted you"

"Good evening for you, too. Thank you for the trust. I'll give my all, but since the begining you ever told me what I supose to do, Mr. Han."

"I'm sorry, my bad. At firts the organizer had to contact throug e-mail to the guest, but with the time the party and the RFA began to grow up, so you have to invite the guest and arrange the food, drinks, gifts, etc."

"...It sounds hard but I'll do it, Mr. Han"

" Good. One more thing you have to work with all the RFA...and could you stop calling me Mr. Han,please?"

"Ugh...fine. Then how should I call you?"

"Jumin is fine. That way we can show we are intimate to the others...by the way you fell a minutes ago, right?"

"...Yes...How do you know it?"

"Well, I aked Seven to put security cameras on your aparment. Which are conect directly to my phone. So...are you fine?"

"Yes, but please limit the use of those. Anyway we're going to live together later"

"That's right but I didn't want to run any risk and put your life in danger"

"I know you want to protect me but it's not necesary, you know?"

"Indeed, it's necesary. Like you must know by now I'm the C&R's CEO. Wich means I have a big amount of enemies and the last thing I want is you getting hurted by my fault."

"Ok, I get it, but don't use it all the time, please."

"Fine, with that we finished the talked you asked for. So, good night."

"Good night to you too, Jumin."

You knew what kind of event is ahead of you, you live from this kind of stuff, but work for a organization that was new for you.

You met with Jumin several times by now, but every time he say or do something makes you angry. His intentions are not bad, but every time you talk with him you realize that both of you came from two diferents worlds. He's cold, selfish and has an extrange sense of humor, that's what you can tell about him. And even you wonder how Jihyun and Jumin are friends.

Tha first month passed really fast and now you're going to move to Jumin's penthouse. The move is pretty organized by Jaehee. At this point you've not met with anyone of the RFA and when you met with Jaehee the conversations are short and dry. But before the move team take all your stuff Jumin told you to stop by his office. When you enter he's there like the last time, on his desk reading papers. Hi notice our presence and stand up from his chair."

"Good afternoon. I'd like to talk to you before you move"

"Good afternoon. Sure, about what?"

"Please sign this contract of confidenciality before move to the penthouse"

"REALLY?! At this point you don't trust me at all. We met several times and worked together to hold the party and we're going to share the same roof! What's wrong with you?!"

He doesn't try to get mad but at some point see you like that...well, he likes it. The way you speak honestly to him without all deference or interest and how openly speak everything you think about him. He wants to see more of those faces but he doesn't like the way he start to feel around you, so he decides to keep these thoughts to him. When you stop the last phrase, Jaehee enters and interruped his thouughts about you.

"Mr. Han, the chairman wants to talk with you rigth now"

"...Alright, I'll go...Here I leave the contract on my desk you can read it. Let's talk about it later"

He left you with the anger contain on your mouth. You go near his desk and start reading the contract but in the instant you take the papers another piece of paper wich falls on the floor. When you pick it up you see is a invitation for a wedding and you feel like your soul leaves you. The invitation said:

"WE GLADLY INVITE YOU TO OUR WEDDING"
"JIHYUN & RIKA"

The air stop enter to your lungs you want to runaway from there at any cost and you did. When jumin comes back to his office he did not find you. The only he saw was the contract and the invitation he didn't hide.
