Five days remain. My entire body felt jittery. I bounced from person to person, chatting about miscellaneous things. Apparently, Hinata was good friends with someone from another team. So much so that he was able to convince them to come all the way to Karasuno for a game.

"Are you excited?" Hinata bounced up, grinning at me.

"Yea," I rasped, voice dry. "I'm kinda nervous."

"Don't be." Hinata clasped my back. "You'll do great!"

A blaring horn jerked us from our conversation. Hinata's eyes lit up, and his hand found my wrist. He began to drag me towards the door.

"They're here!" He announced, garnering the team's attention.

Cold. I dug my heels into the wood, jerking Hinata back immediately. Chills raced down my skin. It felt as though a sudden storm of ice had enveloped the gym. My hands darted out to grab Hinata by the shoulders.

Another Lost is entering my domain. I drug Hinata against my chest, arm lacing across him protectively. Is someone from Nekoma a Lost? Do they have a contract?

My heart began to race as the storm grew nearer. I was keenly aware of their every move, every breath. The sound of glass shattering seemed to pierce my ears. They're through my barrier.

I took a step forward to shield Hinata. His voice called out to me, but it was thick. Everything sounded as though it was flowing through honey.

There. I made eye contact with the other Lost. He was hunched over, mismatched brunette and blonde hair falling over his face. Slowly, he raised his gaze until we made eye contact.

We were both keenly aware of one another. Lost's barriers were often important to them, and intruders weren't usually welcome.

"Oya? Kenma, whose your new friend?"

Our stare off was broken by the approach of a towering, raven-haired captain. My guard never dropped. Hinata's hands came up to my shoulders. He put his weight on me to peer over my shoulders.

"Kenma!" He screamed the name, practically hurdling me to greet his friend.

His team may not know he's a Lost, my spine stiffened. I'll have to be cautious of both him and his secret. I trailed after Hinata protectively. Even standing mere feet from him felt so wrong. If he makes any shady moves, I will kill him where he stands.

Hinata greeted the other lost- Kenma- with a hug. I eyed them wearily, weight shifting from foot to foot. The Captain drifted around the pair to come to my side.

"Ah, you must be (Y/n). Nice to finally meet you, I'm Kuroo." Kuroo offered an outstretched hand.

"(Y/n) (L/n), a pleasure to meet you."

Kuroo snorted at my formalities, turning to watch Kenma and Hinata. A snow-haired giraffe had joined them. My eyes narrowed. One of these is bound to be his pact. I should figure it out in case things get dirty.

"(Y/n), this is Kenma and Lev! Back there is Yaku, and the rest are still coming in."

I put on my best fake-grin, reaching a hand out to Kenma. The other Lost took it without hesitation. He almost looked bored at the situation. Nonetheless, I could see the spark of curiosity in his cat-like eyes. My hand was chilled when I pulled it free.

"Wowww!~ You're so short," Lev chided. He bent down to shake my hand. I grabbed it in a tight grip.

"I'll go for the groin if you say that again," I said, flashing a broad smile.
