Kirishima POV:

"Fuck this, man! Letters should not be considered math!"

I fling my math book onto the bed, where it hits the side and falls down loudly, bending the spine at a horrible angle. I drop my head into my hands and fake sob. I have been studying in Bakugo's room for almost three hours and still couldn't find out why the pythagorean theorem had three letters in it and no numbers. Letters belong in language, not math. Bakugo leans over the side of the bed and picks the book up before flinging it at me, where it lands on my back. I was sprawled out on the floor, with a hundred books and papers scattered around me.  I prop myself up on my elbows and drop my face into my hands, squishing my cheeks. I furrowed my brows, looking down at my math homework. Yeah, we got homework after an exam. You can see why I don't enjoy that class.

"They're not just letters, they're variables idiot. They go with the sides of the triangle, see? "A" is this side, "B" is this side, and "C" is the long side here." He said, pointing to the different sides of the right triangle he held up. Bakugo took on different qualities when he was tutoring. He was the same amount of cocky and intense, but he was less angry, and more patient. He never let himself blow up at me for not understanding the slope of a line or how to calculate the intercepts. He pointed things out in a way I never would have thought of, and when I didn't understand, he explained it all different ways until I got it. For instance, he tried telling me that the variables of the pythagorean theorem were quirks that made up the perfect team, each being able to double their power to make a super strong trio, but I had just stared at him in stupor before he had just sighed and tried explaining it another way. I knew I was missing something, I just didn't know what.

After another forty five minutes of frustration (me) and patience (Bakugo), I finally got it. After I understood the formula, the homework came naturally, the way Bakugo had explained it was absolutely perfect. After I put the last paper in my bag, I flopped down on the bed next to him, covering my face with my hands and heaving a big sigh.  It was dark outside at this point, and I got an idea. If I was going to ask him, I'd need to do it when he's comfortable and preferably tired. I sat up with a groan and looked at him with wide, pleading eyes.

"Hey baku, I'm tired. Can I just stay here tonight and we can have a sleepover? I can go grab a movie from my room and a couple blankets. Pleeeease?" I begged. If I'm being honest, I didn't just want to stay over to ask if he was gay. Any time I spent with Bakugo was heaven on earth for me. Tonight was the night. God...

Bakugo POV:

This idiot. Sure, it was Friday, but if anything I'd have thought he'd want to hang out with the Bakusquad, not just me. Sleeping in my room. Alone together. Before I knew it, words were slipping out of my mouth.

"Sure shitty hair, go grab your shit and I'll make you a bed. Bring some snacks."

He beamed at me, which, of course, made my breath hitch, before jumping up and sprinting out of the room. Tired my ass.

A few minutes later, the door busts open and there he is, in a shark onsie with his arms full of snacks and blankets, and his hair dripping wet from a shower. He walked in and deposited his load onto my floor, picking up a CD case and walking over to my TV. As he set it up, I couldn't help but think about what Kaminari had said earlier. It shouldn't matter if he's gay or not, he could never like me. But still... I had to ask. I had to know, and tonight seemed like the perfect time to ask. I was going to get answers, tonight.

Oh my god is only 11 but my sleep meds are kicking me in the balls right now. This was a bit of a shorter episode, but I promise the next one is going to be really long. Until next time!!!
