We ordered the pizza on the way to the hotel and waited in the lobby for the delivery. Twenty minutes later, dinner in hand, we rode the elevator all the way up to his floor. The body guard bid us a goodnight and we stole away to Namjoon's room.

Okay, don't panic- bed or desk chair.

I watched as Namjoon took a seat on the bed and laid out the pizza box.

If I sit on the bed I might seem too forward and the last thing I want to do is get pizza sauce on the duvet. But if I sit at the desk what if I seem off-putting or like I feel uncomfortable? Before I could make a decision, he patted the space next to him.

Okay, bed it is.

I grabbed a slice and took a seat, still feeling slightly out of place.

But at least he wanted me here.

"Okay, so I feel like we've talked about everything but your YouTube career" Namjoon said. "Oh wow, yah I really do forget about it sometimes. I mean, when you think about it, YouTubers and influencers are just so common these days that I feel like anyone can gain a following if they really tried. Kind've takes the 'uniqueness' out of it" I replied.

"I suppose. But if people are comparing you to David Dobrik, who I understand is quite successful, then you, yourself, must be very very popular." "Yah, David's created a little empire for himself and I got a lot of traction thanks to him, but I look at what you do and it almost makes me feel like I've got a run-of-the-mill 9 to 5." Namjoon ruffled his hair bashfully. I continued- "And I mean that in a good way. Obviously I love what I do, it's just funny meeting real celebrities. Because anyone that follows me might consider me famous, but then I meet you and the rest of the members and it's like... I'm completely starstruck. Like, that's real fame, ya know? Not that there's any point in comparing, but wow. What you guys do is just incredible. That's influence" I took another bite of pizza.

"I don't really know what to say. We just kind've do what we love and we're very lucky that we've been able to do it for this long" Namjoon said with a soft smile "Now show me some of your videos." I choked on my pizza "I'm sorry, what?" "Show me some of your videos! You listened to our music, now I want to see what you do" he repeated, laughing freely. "I don't really know... if you'll enjoy it as much as you think you will" I said "It's not... refined or anything." "Come on, I have a sense of humor" he pressed, smiling so giddily his eyes squinted. "Okay fine" I conceded and watched painfully as he pulled out his phone and opened YouTube.

I showed him a few of my most popular uploads, one of which was the drunk hair dyeing video that started it all. Another was the first time David appeared on my channel, and the last one was my review of the Harry Styles Fine Line album. It's hard not to cringe at my older material, but Namjoon couldn't get enough of it. "You're hilarious" he complimented earnestly. The way to my heart.
