I want to address is the events that went down on January 6, 2021 at the Capitol Building in Washington, DC. It was domestic terrorism, nothing less. The fact that these people are still being called "protestors" in the media is about as clear an example of white privilege as you can get. I, like many, am completely and utterly disgusted and horrified by the actions of these people, and the inaction of Trump.
I hope everyone reading this knows that I stand firm and fast on the side of people of color, immigrants, refugees, LGBTQ+, women, Latinx, and anyone of varying religions. If anyone is in need of an ally, listen to me very carefully when I say I HAVE YOUR BACK.
