{ YEAR XX7, MAY 13TH }

The sound of slurping annoyed Liliana, "Hey Eryx, can't you drink a little quieter please?" The two were outside in the gazebo, the princess had wanted a change of scenery.

"Is something wrong?" He slurped louder, annoying her. "Say, have you ever went outside the palace?" The boy was curious, he had never seen Liliana outside it was like she was a piece of gold that needed to be kept hidden.

"Hm, I have once.. when we visited Mother's Sister."
"Really? Wheres that?" Still slurping he has yet to finish his drink.

"To the graveyard." Startled, Eryx spat out his drink, Liliana laughed at his reaction.

"I wanna go to that cafe mother and father used to go to." She held her hand out, whilst laying down on the white bench, it was a calm and peaceful day. The gazebo was hidden in the palace's garden on the center of a lake, making it silent and serene.

"Hey, Lil." Eryx enjoyed this scenery but also had a plan in mind, "Do you want to go outside?" Liliana stole his idea,

"Eh?"

{ Chapter VI: Kidnapping }

"We'll receive a lot o' gold fer this one aye?"  Bottles clanked, the sound of a horse walking, few men were laughing and talking.

A sack moved, "Oi, ye better 'ave knocked that thin' out properly, we needs 'im alive" a man with a big build wearing a black bandanna over his velvet hair asked.

"Apologies cap'n, this child 'ere is a treasured one of a chapel's son." One of the men who worked under him explained, kicking the sack he smirked.

"Jason, i'm nah yer cap'n, me mother be. Jus' 'cause she be a wench doesn't mean ye can underestimate her, soon it'll be me sister." The man tsked. 'Jason' was left speechless.

The trading carriage stopped, opening the cloth that hid the men, the velvet haired stepped outside. "Make sure that sprog doesn't escape, he's worth a lot o' gold."

"Aye!  'ave a safe trip, sir."

--- meanwhile --

"Lil, are you sure this disguise will work? There's a lot of danger these days, you might get involved." Liliana smirked, "Are you really that scared, Eryx?"  The two hid themselves with a cloak and some commoner looking clothing.

"Ha? Of course not. I simply worry for my dearest. best. friend." He bragged, Liliana had considered Eryx as her best friend.

"You better not go anywhere out of my sight." The feeling the scenery gave Liliana was breath taking, she had never experienced such a scenery before.

The many carriages being driven by horses, and tavern music as well as beer glasses clinking. "This is a very festive country isn't it, Eryx?" He nodded in response.

"I wanna go buy some food but we don't have any money." disappointed she was ready to go back to the palace, however Eryx snickered. "Hey, give me your hands." Liliana was cofused but did it anyways.

"E-Eryx! Is this..?" A heavy bag filled with golden coins was right in her hands. "Where did you get this?!" Eryx seemed proud of himself, crossing his arms he was proud to say; "I earned it of course!"

"Earned it?"

"Yes, Uncle and I would sometimes bet and play together when you're busy with your princess-y things." She was surprised, she hadn't read of this part in the original story, shrugging it off aside she focused n finding stalls with food.
