You woke up to the distinct sound of tapping on your bedroom door, the events from the quidditch pitch still whirling rapidly around your head. Getting up, you pulled your hood from your sweatshirt slowly up and headed to the door.

Who the hell would be knocking at this time?

You were surprised to see Draco standing there, like a lost sheep.
"Can we talk?" He asked quietly, his hands fumbling with the loose tie around his neck.

"Draco, it's two in the morning, why aren't you sleeping?" You asked. "Sleeping is boring." He stated and you smiled softly, you pulled open the door for him to come in. "How comes you get your own room?" Draco let out in a shocked manner, his eyes wide, like a kid in a toy shop.

"Because..." You answered, closing the door behind the boy and heading back to bed.

You walked past Draco, and flopped down onto the bed, pulling the covers up over your now freezing frame. "Uh?" Draco muttered in confusion as his eyes followed your actions. His eyebrows knitting together as he tried to make sense of the situation. "What?" You asked. Draco then shook his head and smirked, his hair falling into a middle part.

"Please don't tell anyone about earlier. Crying is what pussies do and I shouldn't have cried." Draco said bluntly, running a hand through his frost coloured hair and walking to the other side of your bed. "Get in." You sighed, pulling back the covers for the awkward boy to climb in. Draco frowned, trying to make out if you were serious or not. He scowled at you, you simply patted the bed and smiled sleepily.

Much to your surprise, he kicked off his shoes and dropped his robe on the floor before hesitantly climbing in. "Don't tell anyone about this either." He said, licking his lips and sighing. You chuckled and rolled towards him as he settled down into his side of the bed.

"Why do you hate me so much Draco?" You asked the boy next to you suddenly.

He closed his eyes slowly and moved his legs, you could feel them close to your bare ones. He seemed unfazed by your abruptness, then Draco made eye contact with you. "Because you're perfect, and I'm not." He said quietly, running a hand through his hair.

You smiled softly, reaching to move the tuft of hair that had fallen over his eyes. Draco rapidly flinched away. "It's just hair." He said as if to stop you doing it. But you persisted.

Draco grabbed your wrist quickly. "I said, it's just fucking hair." He growled back at you.

He pulled you closer by your hand, your heart suddenly beating so loud, you were sure he could hear it. A smirk appeared upon his features, as you realised you'd stopped breathing. "Breathe, or you'll die, weirdo..." He laughed with a grin, Draco used his other hand and pulled the covers up around you as your teeth started chattering, the cold air surrounding you both. It was mostly because your stomach was filling with butterflies, the more your let your brain think about the situation you were in.

You let out a sigh, quickly closing your eyes to avoid eye contact. "Look at me.." Draco said, it was more like a demand though. His cold fingers soon clasping your chin and tilting it towards him. You were mere inches apart. Suddenly you felt his legs entwine with yours, your body becoming warm and fuzzy. You smiled softly as a smirk appeared on his face.

"I don't mean to be a dickhead. I really am sorry. I just.. People will think i'm pathetic if i'm not.." Draco mumbled. "No Draco," you paused, inching closer to him.

His body was close to yours.

You could feel his warmth, his hips dangerously close to your own. "They'll think you're human." You continued. You felt his arm snake around you, diving under the covers to pull you closer. Your breath catching in your throat as you automatically placed your hands on his chest.
