Chapter 2 On the other hand

A man stood proudly in his home that he shared with his husband. That man was Evan Fong. He is 60 years old and has a husband named Tyler Fong. He has two adopted kids named John and Cameron who were both 27. He loved his small family just as much as he loved his brothers and sisters. He was always excited when they got together. It's usually every once in a while since Nathan had moved to New York.

He didn't mind his step-brother and step-sisters. When Dially had announced she was having a baby everyone was excited about it. So when Aiden was finally born Jonathan nearly collapsed from excitement. Evan this time could actually focus on school instead of worrying about his new brother. School was alright with him. He got a hockey scholarship and then played for the Caroline Hurricanes. He played hockey for 20 years, retiring to focus on his music.

Tyler ended up switching from football to basketball, also playing for the Charolette Hornets when he got out of college. Craig has followed his music career having a huge following of fans. He married his college sweetheart Samantha and they live together along with several dogs. Brock ended up with Brian making Craig the only person part of their group that isn't gay. They adopted a son named Jaren who is going out with his son John.

What really surprised him was when Dially announced she was having twins. There was a bit of a problem when giving birth but she had gave birth to two healthy twin girls. They were a bit premature but they loved them. He loved having a little sister to watch over and to scare away all the guys that tried to hit on me. Scarlett and Aiden looked like Jonathan while Emily looked a lot like Dially.

When Aiden was older Tyler started to grow on him. He loved the humor he had and all the times they shared with one another on playing the games with each other. The one thing he could say was that all of them had a YouTube channel. It was something he did on the offside as he was growing up. He hardly posts anymore because he's in his 60s but it still doesn't stop him from looking back on him from time to time.

Of course bad times hit them all and the loss of his mother Dially really hit them all. She was sweet and caring and didn't deserve to go so early. No one is ever truly ready to lose a love one so it broke the family apart. Evan is of course will always be close to his siblings but he doesn't consider Jonathan as a father anymore. Especially not after what he did to him personally.

He doesn't regret putting Jonathan in a retirement home. He wants to stay as far away from him as possible.

Chapter 3 Now Go

"Good morning Mr Dennis," his nurse said as she entered the room.

Jonathan frowned putting a pillow over his face. He could hear her giggle as the warmth of his blanket was slowly pulled off. He felt the pillow being taken off and he glared at the smiling nurse.

"It's the first day of December Mr Dennis it's time for breakfast," she said slowly easing him up.

"It's too cold to leave the room," Jonathan grumbled as she helped him change.

"I know Mr Dennis but today they're serving your favorite warm oatmeal," she said as he put on his slippers.

"No thank you," Jonathan said as she put his walker in front of him.

She went to the door and opened it patiently waiting for Jonathan to move. He groaned slowly standing up and walking towards her. He ignored the things she said as she went over his schedule with him. He knows what's gonna happen. They're gonna eat breakfast then followed by morning exercise. After its free time then lunch; followed by Bingo and then family can visit. Then it's bed and then another day in hell again.

"Good morning Buddy," Luke greeted him as he sat down.

"Life would be fine if I could lay in bed," Jonathan grumbled as his nurse went to get him breakfast.

"Come on it's Family day after morning exercise," Blue said as she ate her food.

"Great even more motivation on just staying in my room today," Jonathan said.

"When are you going to apologize," Luke said.

"Never I have nothing to apologize for," Jonathan snapped.

"Hey yaaaall," Marcel said as he sat down with Simone.

"Ughhhhhhh," Jonathan said.

Final Days... was supposed to be the final book of the trilogy I was going for. The Struggles of a Single Father has to be one of my favorite stories to write of all time. The hidden message I put in the title of each chapters made me so excited. This is basically what I had set up for each chapter

Third Book in the Father Jon and Son Evan Arc

Jonathan is now 85 years old living in an old home. He currently hates the world and hates the family he has. He has annoying friends, five ungrateful children, and a bunch of grandchildren who pester him. The only person that mattered to him was his wife, who had passed away sometime ago.

Evan is 60 years old. He has an amazing Husband; two awesome brother, two amazing sisters, and two kids of his own. He has an old coot of a dad who he rather not visit. Unless he wanted to be reminded how much of a worthless son he is to him.

Evan and Jon's friends team up and try to fix their broken relationship. Before it's too late.
