Protect You (BTS Jungkook)

Chapter 4

"Shit!" Jungkook cursed as soon as he realized the situation he was in.

Minhee turned her head to look at the guy who had just cursed. "Language, Jeon. We're in front of a kid right now. And what's wrong with you?" She asked as a slight frown was visible on her face.

Jungkook had just dropped both Minhee and her little sister home as he promised but as he was about to go home, his bike died down and couldn't restart. Jungkook then turned his head to look at her with a pout.

"I ran out of gas." He mumbled, a pout still visible on his face. She sighed as soon as she heard the word that came out from his mouth. "I told you it would have been better if I walked home. If you didn't send us back, you would have been home by now." She said.

Jungkook shook his head, "It's not your fault. I choose to send you so it's okay. I should have seen that I'm running out of gas."

She ruffled her head in slight annoyance but decided to not further argue about it since she knew she won't win. Jeon Jungkook is the most stubborn, hard-headed person she ever knew. So, arguing with him is just a waste of energy and time.

"So what are you going to do now?" She asked him, a little concern with his current situation.

"I don't know. The hyungs aren't available right now." He muttered as he goes through his phone.

"Well, you're rich so aren't you like.. have a driver or something?" She asked again.

He stopped his movement as his mind reminded of something. He then chuckled nervously, "I did but he was on short vacation. You know... just vacation with his family. And I don't really mind since I can ride my bike and I'm alone in my house, parents not home and that sort of thing."

Minhee rolled her eyes as she had to hear him blabbering about his life and current situation. Being too tired with the day, she let out a sigh before speaking. "Come in. I'll let you stay for the night. Just for today." She said, glaring at her before walking into the building, leaving him alone.

Jungkook on the other hand was over the moon for the invitation. Yea, he did it on purpose. He could just call his driver to pick him up or the hyungs to help him with the gas, but he chose not too. Just for this.

Jungkook immediately parked his bike at the bike area and brought his helmet along before he jogged to her. They took an elevator to the level of her apartment in complete silence. It was actually a bit uncomfortable for Minhee since she had never brought anyone back home, this was the first time and for it to be a guy, it was way more awkward and uncomfortable.

"Is bunny oppa going to sleep with us?" The little girl asked as she tugged onto his leather jacket to earn his attention.

"He's not sleeping with us, baby. He just stays the night." Minhee corrected her so that the little girl would not get a false thought on it.

Nevertheless, the little girl is still happy with the fact that she could spend more time with her bunny oppa to play. Yes, she called him bunny oppa just because she saw the bunny look in him. And yes, she loves Jungkook.

She has been living alone with Minhee ever since she was a baby and she rarely gets to play with her since her big sister was too busy with part-time work, assignments and managing the household. She didn't get to spend much time with her, but she still loves her big sister with her entire heart since she is the only family she had.

"Are you happy that I'm staying the night?" Jungkook asked her, giving her his bunny smile that she loves.

"Yes! We can play together, right?" She answered happily before giving him her pleading eyes so that he would agree to play with her.
