Chapter 3

"Ms Park." Someone called her name, waking her up from her nap. She snapped her head up and turned around to see the nurse looking at her with a smile.

She stood up immediately and fixed her appearance before she bowed to her. "Yes?" She answered curiously.

"I'm here to tell you that your sister can be discharged now. All you need to do is pay for the bills and take the medicines needed for her at the hospital's pharmacy." She informed her while looking through the papers.

Minhee let out a breath of relieved before she thanked her, "Thank you so much!"

With that, the nurse bowed to her with a smile before walked out from the ward. She turned to look at her little sister who was sleeping peacefully, bending down a little to plant a soft kiss on her forehead. She then turned around to find where Jungkook was.

"Where did he go?" She spoke to herself before taking out her phone to call him. But before she could, she noticed a message from him.

Hey, princess! I thought that you might be looking for me when you woke up so I'm just going to tell you that I'm at practice now. Call me if you need anything ;)

She smiles at the message and locked her phone again after reading his message. She put her phone in her back pocket before shaking her little sister's body lightly to wake her up. "Little Star, wake up." She spoke softly while brushing her hair strands away.

"Minmin." She called her with her small voice. "Yes, baby. Minmin is here. Wake up now, we have to go home." She said before slowly helping the little girl to sit up.

She then started to get her little sister ready before they walked out from the ward. She held her small hand tightly as she walked to the counter to pay the bills.

"Hello, may I help you?" The nurse who managed the counter spoke.

"Hi, I'm Park Minhee and I want to pay the bills for my little sister's hospitality." She informed her.

"Okay, please wait for a moment." She spoke before typing away on her monitor. "I'm sorry, Ms Park, but it stated here that your bills have been paid." She told her which caught her off guard.

"Excuse me? But who would pay for it?" She asked. "Oh, you're Park Minhee? A guy paid for it before he left. He told me he is your friend." Another nurse spoke from behind with a smile.

"Oh, is that so? Thank you." She said in hesitation before walked away. She took the medicines at the hospital's pharmacy first before she exited the building.

As she walked down the sidewalk, she kept on thinking of the possible reason of why Jungkook would pay the bills. It's not like both of them are closed enough for that. Of course he has the money since his parent is rich. But there must be a reason to that and she needs the answer.

"Little Star, are you feeling tired? Do you want Minmin to carry you?" She asked the little girl who was walking with her while holding hands.

She shook her head, "Nope. I feel okay."

"Do you want to follow Minmin to the university? Minmin had to meet someone." She asked the little girl which makes her eyes lit up in excitement.

She nodded her head, "I want to see Minmin's school!". She smiled softly, "Okay, let's go. Minmin will show you my school."
