PITCTURE OF JAMES HOLD/HOOK

I woke up to find myself chained to wall in a stinky dim cell.  My arm was sore, but when I looked the blood and wound were gone.  All that was left was a pink scar.  Great.  My mom's gonna love the story of how I got my most recent scar. Had I been unconcious for that long that it was already healed?  I looked around the cell.  Nothing.  It was just a steel room with no window.  How am I gonna get out of this?

The door opened a couple hours later and Darian was thrown in.  I barely recognized him.  I gasped as I realized the red stuff covering him was not paint or ketchup, it was blood.  A large man with dark hair stood in the doorway, laughing as Darian groaned in pain.  Then the man walked over to me.

"Hello beautiful.  Like your new home?"  He laughed in my face.  I cringed away from him.  "Leave her alone, Hook, it's me you want" Darian forced out.  "My name is James Hold, not Hook, dear"  He said to me, ignoring Darian.  "I call em like I see em" Darian shot back.  "Do you value your life, sweet Katie?" Hook or Hold asked me.  I growled.  "My name is Kate" Boy how I hate when people call me Katie.  It's not my name!  He just chuckled.  "Answer the question".  "Don't believe a word he says" Darian said to me.  like I was gonna; I wasn't stupid.  "I might let you live, Katie, if you do something for me" .  I turned my head and smiled at him...and then spat in his face.  Score!

He slapped my face after wipping my spittle off of him.  I've got good aim, I gloated, ignoring the pain in my cheek.  "If you're waiting for him, little brother, forget it.  He won't be coming"  He said coldly to Darian.  Wait, this phsyco was Darian's brother.  Wow sibling rivalry much?  He left, slamming and locking the door behind him.

Next chapter will explain some things...with way more action, I promise.  If Hold (or Hook mwhahaha) is really Darian's bro, what made him so mad?  Why is Kate involved in this?
