PICTURE OF KATE
The blond boy held a key in his hand. He unlocked Darian's chains and helped him stand. Then he came over to me. "Shall I set her free or should we leave her here?" He asked Darian, looking at me. "Um set me free please!" I said. He wasn't serious about leaving me, right? "Stop joking around, Peter and let's get out of here" Darian said. "Oh so we do leave her. How ungentlemanly of us" Peter laughed. I thrashed in my chains, trying to reach the key he was dangling over my head, just out of my reach. Darian snatched the key and unlocked my chains. "Ignore him" He said.
Blood rushed to my legs as I stood. The boys were talking escape strategy cause both of them, of course, knew exactly where we were and how to get out. Not fair. My attention was captured by a floating light. I rubbed my eyes, but was still there, hovering above my head. The light came closer and I could just make out a small person. I must've hit my head or something on the way here. Cause that little light looks a whole lot like a fairy. But everyone knows fairies don't exhist...right?
Then the fairy (?) spoke. "Hurry, we must! Fly you must. Coming Hook is" What the heck? A fairy that talks like Yoda? At any rate, the boys listened to her. Peter shot up to the ceiling...flying. Would my day get any worse? Apparently so. A few seconds and some fairy dust later, I was sandwhiched between Darian and Peter who had no problems with FLYING. They grabbed my hands and I realized my feet were off the ground. My mother would not be proud of the words running through my brain...
Footsteps sounded in the hall. We floated up to the ceiling and the fairy hid in Peter's shirt. The door opened and James Hold/Hook walked in. "They've escaped! Find them! Double the guards and look to the sky!" He screamed. It wasn't a good look for him. Peter drew a sword. It looked exactly like the one Darian had used before we were kidnapped. "Missing something, Hook?" He laughed and Darian cursed. Hook looked up and growled, pulling an acient-looking pistol. Wow bad guys can't afford better weapons, how sad. He took a couple shots at Peter. I squeezed my eyes shut, sure that the flying boy would be a bloodstain on the floor. Nope.
"Distracted, Hook is. Get to safety we must" The fairy said to Darian. Okay, sure Yoda. Darian pulled me out the door. We flew over the guards in the long hallway. "Guards there are at this door" the fairy said. "Right" Darian said, dropping to the floor in a crouch. Heck he looked like a ninja or something. "Where's my sword?" He asked the fairy. She promptly disapeared and reapeared with a sword. "Thanks" With that he hit the door in a sprint. It closed behind him, but I could still hear the shouts, the clang of swords, the cries of pain...then silence.
