Shikamaru did his normal walking to the Hokage's office while smoking a cigarette. 'I swear if he fell asleep in the office again' Shikamaru thought ' should I get him breakfast ' Shikamaru stopped by Ichiraku. Knowing Naruto since they were toddlers really got him to learn Naruto's favorite " Ahh, Shikamaru I haven't seen you in a well. How have you been? " Ayame said " Nothing much I came to get Naruto his favorite ramen cause he probably slept in the Hokage's office today " Shikamaru said pulling out his wallet " oh if it's for our number one customer since they were little it's going to free, especially if it's for the Hokage we will add extra toppings " Ayame said starting the noodles " thanks paying for his ramen is kind of a drag " Shikamaru said sitting down in relief. ' I don't know how he can eat all that everyday but it kinda turns me on ' Shikamaru thought looking at the same stools when they were kids Naruto use to sit in. " the old days of him smiling and screaming that weird ^Dattebayo!^ he was a weird one but he saved our butts thousands of times now he can save the whole villages butts ' Before Shikamaru knew it the ramen was done put in a container with a note on top saying ' Thanks for saving us from the Otsusuki attack last week we thank you - Ayame and Teuchi. " Thank you I'll be heading off now, I'm kinda late " Shikamaru said thinking about the attack on the Chunin Exams ' Yep that Naruto came a long way ' Shikamaru caught himself smiling thinking all his times with Naruto. Shikamaru reached the door not surprised to see Naruto slumped over snoring like a sleeping dog " Naruto wake up I got you ramen for breakfast " Shikamaru said blushing at Naruto's sleeping position. His legs were up on his desk making him man spread wide ' it looks like a sex position' Shikamaru thought until he thought about them having sex with Naruto in that position' no Shikamaru just no ' "Naruto Wake Up! " Shikamaru shouted placing the ramen in front of him " h-huh " Naruto jumped drool running down his chin " oh hey Shikamaru " Shikamaru passed Naruto chopsticks trying to ignore that Naruto was still in that position " I got you ramen with extra toppings " Naruto quickly got out of the position he was in and read the note " so nice of them " Naruto chuckled and was half way done. " Jeez Naruto slow down " ' the way he slurps the noodles ' Shikamaru thought " thanks Shikamaru I am now pumped where are the papers?! " Naruto screamed acting like a shirtless man flexing ' oh my god Naruto really ' Shikamaru sighed as he walked downstairs for the stack of papers Naruto does everyday " I don't know how a handsome man with a wife and kids does this " Shikamaru thought aloud blushing at him saying handsome man " more like sexy man " " huh who you talking to Shikamaru-San?" Shikamaru screamed in silence as he turned around to see Boruto with nicely wrapped bento box " oh... Boruto I was um... " ' oh god what do I do how will this play out if say this or that or tell the truth ' Shikamaru brain was going dead. Boruto then tilts in confusion as Shikamaru contemplates wether he talks about himself or the 12 year olds dad " I was thinking out loud about um ... " 'Me or Naruto, Me or Naruto. Damnit what a drag ' "I was talking about myself " Boruto looked even more confused " I thought you said something about a man, wife and kids? " ' Damnit despite having a idiot dad and being a idiot himself he is smart ' " yeah me a wife and kids " Boruto got even more confused ' ugh not again with this shit ' " but it's plur- " Shikamaru got agitated " know what just give your dad his food you don't want him starve or you won't see him even more " Boruto's  expression changes " crap! Your a life saver Dattebasa " Boruto then sprints up the stairs 'phew!' Shikamaru started thinking about what Boruto just said ' Dattebasa! ' it made him think of what Naruto used to say at that age all squeaky and loud ' Shikamaru your a life saver dattebayo! ' " bye Shikamaru-San thank you " Boruto screamed going down the steps. Shikamaru made it to the door and opened, he found Naruto sleeping his head laying down on the keyboard making all kinds of noises ' he looks so peaceful ' Shikamaru woke Naruto up " Come on I'm taking you to my place make a shadow clone I'm taking you to my place to sleep " Naruto looked up, they were so close their noses were touching ' so c-close ' " Thanks Shikamaru your a life saver Dattebayo " Naruto placed his two fingers on both hands making a cross " Kage Bunshin No Jutsu " Naruto said wearily as he fell onto Shikamaru ' oh god he is on me what do I do??? ' "Come on Naruto, Temari is visiting Gaara and Kankurou, and Shikadai is with them you can sleep as long as you want " Naruto looked up smiling with his eyes shut in a happy-cheerful way " why not just drop me at my house? " Naruto said not denying the idea " do you really wanna face Boruto and Hinata? " Shikamaru said looking down at Naruto as he slumped over him with his right arm around his neck " I'm sure Hinata will understand " Naruto said facing forward " But what about Boruto? " After Shikamaru said that Naruto looked up and told him to take him to Shikamaru house.
