Name: Natalie Young
Age(when met the Baudelaires): 13
Greatest hobby/talent: poetry*Life before the fire*
You were taken care of by your mother. She said your dad left when he found out about the pregnancy. You would always go to your library and search up books that have anything to do with poetry. You felt as if that were the only thing you were good at. You went to a public school but never got any friends. You were a loner, the quiet kid. Luckily, no one ever noticed you so you were never made fun off. Your mom always helped you with homework and poetry. She was also good at it. She started writing when your dad left so she always said that better things happen to her when people leave her.*The fire*
You were writing another piece of poetry about damaged souls (you enjoyed writing about deeper stuff) when you saw your mom ran into the room. She looked frightened and as if she has seen a ghost so you listened very carefully as she shouted, "Natalie, there's a fire in the house! You have to get out that window now!" You asked her if she would come with you but she said she'd be right behind you. You got out just in time but your mom didn't make it. Your mom and you had a good contact with the neighbors so you ran to them for help. A man arrived and told you that you would have to go to a boarding school called Prufrock Preparatory School.
*How you met the Baudelaires*
When you first met, Carmelita made fun of you. After a few days, another pair of orphans came to the school. You helped them from being ridiculed and became fast friends with them. They were called Duncan and Isadora. You and Isadora made poets all the time during any breaks you found but you felt more to Duncan than to her. When the Baudelaires arrived, all of the attention went to them. You didn't mind it since you didn't like attention anyways, but you still missed the way Duncan smiled at you, which he now did to Violet. You were kidnapped, along with the other 2 Quagmires. You saw what he carved into the red herring and knew that your chances were over. You got into the hot air mobile home with them and tend to keep on thinking about the Baudelaires and what might be happening to them now. You had more time to write poetry with Isadora and they managed to find their brother, Quigley Quagmire.*Present*
The hot air mobile home got down while at sea. You were all trying to swim to shore but you saw Duncan couldn't swim and that he was about to drown. You pushed him in front and drowned yourself. They all survived, except you. You try to look after him best you can and you hate seeing him, or his siblings, cry when they think about you. The Baudelaires have only found out when they saw your body wash up onto the island they spent a year on. They cried madly and kept saying that it was all their fault, that they should've never left you and the Quagmires alone. You found your mother as a ghost and would spend every second with her. She told you how she took care of you, even as a ghost, and you told her how much you missed her. Every ghost enjoyed your poetry and got quickly famous in the ghost world.
