SELENA'S POV

"Wow, this dorm is huge." I said to my roommates and best friends Demi, Ariana and Miley. I dropped all of my stuff on the floor after carrying it for what seems like forever. I just arrived at the most beautiful university in New York. A university for young stars with talent. I came here with my best friends. We're hoping to spend the next four years of college together and graduate together. I'm finally away from my parents, and independent

"Sooo, shall we scope out our neighbors?" Demi said with a smirk on her face.

"Let's go!" Ariana said excitedly.

There was an open door across the hallway. We decided to go inside to see if anyone was there. Demi knocked on the door.

"Is anyone home?"

"In here!" A very cute voice shouted out.

"Hi I'm Harry,

"I'm Liam,"

"I'm Louis,"

"I'm Niall,"

"And I'm Zayn."

" And we're One Direction." All five of the very charming boys said in unison.

"Wow, okay someone remind me not to come over here again." Miley said in a sarcastic tone.

"Oh come on, we're really not that bad. That's just how we introduce ourselves for, well for everything." Louis said with a laugh at the end.

"So what's your ladies' name?" Harry said smiling showing his dimples.

" I'm Ariana!"

" I'm Miley."

" I'm Demi."

"I'm Selena." I said trying not to blush.

"Well it's very nice to meet you guys. Well, if you give us a couple of hours to finish unpacking maybe we could go get dinner?" Harry offered.

"Sounds great! See you guys at 7." Demi said.

We all walked out and headed back into our dorm to wash up for dinner. I decided to wear skinny jeans, a sheer top and some jewelry to dress it up.

"Oh Selena, who are you dressed up for?" Miley asked in a suspicious voice.

"Come on Selena, out with it!" Demi shouted.

"Okay fine, I think Harry is kind of cute." I admitted.

"Someone's got curly fever." Ariana said.

We met the boys in the hallway and started to head towards a café on campus.

"Hey, if you don't mind I invited my friend Justin to come to dinner with us." Zayn said hopefully.

"Yeah its no problem, we'd love to meet him." Demi responded.

"Oh, I should've brought a jacket its kind of cold." I said trying to drop a hint. It was silent for a second before anyone responded.

"Here Selena, you can have my jacket." Harry replied with a smile. He also rubbed my arms to help me get warm. I've seen Zach do that to Kelly on Saved By The Bell. I've probably watched too many of those episodes.

"Thanks." I tried to say without blushing too much.

We arrived at the cafè after walking for some time, and Justin was there waiting for us. The look on Justin's face was happy, but anticipating more than just a meet and greet.

"Hey guys." Justin said cheerfully.

"Hey, this is Demi, Selena, Miley, and Ariana." Zayn explained.

"Nice to meet you guys. Uhm, hi Harry." Justin said with attitude. There was tension is the air.

"Oh please, don't start with me Justin. I've had enough of your games." Harry said angrily.

"Hey, its not a game if your the only one playin'." Justin replied back in a smart-ass tone.

"Oh okay, well....." Harry couldn't finish. Liam cut him off.

"You guys are being stupid. Leave your past behind you. We all came here for dinner together. To have fun. We don't need you guys fighting."

"Sorry." Harry said.

"Oh please, even I know you sorrys are full of shit." Justin said.

"HEY! One more word and we're all out." Liam shouted at the top of his lungs. "Now can we sit please?"

After dinner we all walked back up to our dorms. It seems like everyone had a great time. Even Justin and Harry were behaving themselves as we were walking back to the dorms. We were all lauging and talking about stuff college freshman would usually talk about. Gossip, college parties, and even planning when we're going to hang out next.

"Well it was very nice, meeting all of you guys. I had a great time," I said, "And here's your jacket Harry, thanks for letting me borrow it." I finished.

"No problem. And thanks for coming you guys, it made dinner really fun."

"Yeah, we should have dinner again sometime." Demi suggested.

"Definately." Harry said with a cheeky smile.

We all walked into our dorms after a fun, but very tense night. Overall, my first day of college wasn't that bad. Iv'e already made more friends and got my flirt on with the guy next door. But all I could think about is, this could maybe be the beginning of some beautiful friendships. I guess we'll see.
