Chapter 3

Harry's POV

Selena really opened up to me at the café. Everyone really has their own story. But I think maybe my mistake was not telling Selena my own story. I was stupid and pitiful, and I lost my best friend.

"Niall what is all that noise?" I asked.

"New neighbor maybe?"

"And guess who, Harry" Liam added sarcastically.

Great, it's Justin. Isn't this just perfect. Our past is a hard one to explain. But basically, I'm the bad guy. And I could never fix it. After everything happened, Justin was just stubborn with me. And I lost it. He lost her.. And his baby..

"You know mate, it's been a long time coming for you guys to clear things up. Maybe this is a sign that maybe it's time to have that discussion." Liam added after his sly remark.

"No." I replied bluntly.

"Harry we are spending four years here and this is how you want to spent it, mate?" Louis sounded concerned. I mean what happened isn't something you can just bounce back from.

Selena's POV

After what Demi told me I was in shock. Harry was so gentle with me and acted like he was so perfect.

"Justin?" I spoke to the unpacking figure across the hallway.

"That's me!" He replied strangely cheerfully.

"Ummm, could you please explain that note you left me?" I had to ask. Everything was getting way too weird too fast.

"Maybe it's better if I don't." He told me bluntly.

"What if I told you I knew the story already?"

"And what exactly do you know? Because if Harry told you I could probably assure you he lied." He replied looking suddenly intrigued. But I don't really know what the right thing was to do here. Do I talk to Harry about it first, or do I confront it now.

"I can tell you that you want to know where Jess is." He looked at me shocked.

"But here's my problem," I continued, "After the night at the café with Harry, I felt like we were friends. Why do I of all people have to look out for him?" I questioned.

"Because people don't change." He tried to explain.

"But maybe he did."

"He never did!" Justin began to shout out of frustration.

Harry's POV

I started to think maybe Louis was right. The next four years of University wouldn't be too fun if I didn't get along with my neighbors. Nor would it be any good keeping secrets. So I decided to walk across the hall, and tell the girls the truth.

I opened the dorm door, and soon heard a conversation between two familiar voices. So I took a detour to Justin's room and decided to join the conversation.

"Hey Selena. Hi Justin." I awkwardly entered the room.

"Hey.." Selena said quietly, while Justin turned his back to me.

I cleared my throat, "Look Justin I didn't mean too.. I'm really sorry I... Maybe I.." I couldn't formulate the words that I wanted to say, I was so nervous.

"Look Harry, if you can't tell me where Jess is, or where my CHILD is, then you can leave!" Justin angrily snapped at me.

"Well what if I could tell you where Jess was..?" I replied quietly, knowing I had revealed another secret.
