BARRY'S P.O.V
We got to Thea's apartment just as Aria walked through the door. We tried to be sneaky but she heard us and turned around quickly. "What are you guys doing here?" she asked. "We're here to bring you back to S.T.A.R Labs. We can help you," I said. "How? How can you help? I almost KILLED you Barry!!! I'm too dangerous," Aria told us. "If we can't help what makes you think Merlin can?" Caitlin said. I could tell Aria was thinking. "You're right we can't help. Not because we aren't capable to, but because you won't let us. Here," Caitlin said taking the gloves out of her pocket. "These will cancel out your energy blasts and control your energy levels," she said handing them to Aria who put them on and looked me in the eyes. "Can you forgive me for what I did to you?" She asked me. "Are you kidding me? I love getting pummeled by women," I said. She laughed then hugged me and Caitlin. "Can we go now?" Caitlin asks. "Yeah," Aria said smiling.
ARIANA'S P.O.V
When we got back to S.T.A.R Labs I was hugged/tackled by Felicity. "Adrenaline returns," Cisco said loudly. "Adrenaline?" I asked looking at Barry. "You aren't really a meta-human until Cisco gives you a name," he answered. Then Roy walked into the room. "Aria!" he said giving me a hug. I hugged him back and let go. I turned to Barry. "Now back to business. How do I control my powers?" I asked. "That's easy," he said leading me outside.
We walked to an open space. "First take off the gloves," he told me. I took them off and shoved them in my pockets. Instantly I felt the buzz of adrenaline rush through me. "Second give me your hands," he said. He took my hands and held them palms up. "Now concentrate," he said. I concentrated and looked at my palms. Flickers of energy started dancing across my palms. I tried to pull away so that I wouldn't hurt him but he held my hands firmly. "You can't control them if you're afraid of them. That's like trying to put out a fire with lighter fluid. Just relax and let your powers work," he said. I did as he said and it worked. A ball of energy the size of a baseball sat in my hand. "Good now see that," Barry said pointing to a small box a few yards away. "Yeah," I said. "Hit it," he said. I took a deep breath and threw ball of energy at th box. It blew up and the pieces landed everywhere. "I did it!" I yelled. I hugged Barry.
After blowing a few more things up we went back inside. "We are heading back to Starling," Roy said. "I'm gonna stay here for a while and get a grip on my powers," I told them. After a quick good bye the Arrow gang headed out. "You're not going back to Starling are you?" Barry asked when we were alone. "It's not that I don't want to. It's just that Starling doesn't feel like home anymore," I confessed. "It's okay Aria. No one is making you leave and no one is making you leave. It's your choice. But I can help. Close your eyes," he told me. I listened. "Now when I say the word 'home' where do you see yourself," he asked. "Here with you," I said. Barry smiled and simply walked away. "See you tomorrow," I called after him. I started to think about my life.
When I fought with Oliver and Roy I always felt like I had something to prove. Like just because I was a girl it meant I had to work harder to prove myself. I had always thought that was normal. But on that bridge when I fought with Barry I felt like we were two halves of one person. Like we were destined to work together to fight crime. That's enough thinking for tonight, I thought to myself. I went back to my hotel and got some sleep.
