Chapter Eleven

BARRY'S P.O.V

     The next morning when I got to S.T.A.R Labs Aria was already there on the computer while talking with Cisco. "So Multiplex could create copy's of himself? That is so cool," She said. She looked up from the screen and saw me. "Oh hey Barry. Cisco was just showing me some info on meta-humans you've beaten in the past," she explained. "Ready to shoot blasts of energy?" I asked her. "Depends, are you ready to avoid blasts of energy?" she asked back. "Uh oh," I said. We went out to the abandoned airfield and Cisco explained what was going on. "Basically it tests her ablities and yours. You'll be running a special obstacle course I made while Ariana shoots blasts of energy at you. It will help you learn how to focus on more than one threat at a time," he said. "Sounds like fun," I said. "I'll use the smallest amount of energy possible in my blasts. That way when you get hit it won't hurt too bad.," Aria told me. "Unless you miss," I told her. "I don't miss," Aria said walking towards where she left her mask. I then realized she was in her hero outfit. I ran, changed into mine, and was back in a second.

    "Ready?" Aria asked. Instead of answering her I started the obstacle course. About three seconds in I got hit in the side by a ball of energy. "Told ya I don't miss," I heard Aria shout. I kept running the obstacle course and she kept hitting me. By the time we were done she had hit me 7/7 times. "That was rigged," I complained. "Sure it was," Aria said. We went back to S.T.A.R Labs and changed out of our outfits. I checked my phone. "I gotta go," I said. "Work?" Aria asked. "Yep," I replied. "Well I'm going to Jitters cause I need coffee," Aria announced. "Are you kidding? Have you seen you energy levels?" Caitlin asked laughing. Aria looked at them. "Hmm they're lower than normal. But I can fix that with coffee," she decided. "I give up," Caitlin said. "Your impossible," I told Aria. She shrugged. "It's a gift," she said innocently. I rolled my eyes and walked away. That girl is something else.

ARIANA'S P.O.V

     As soon as Barry left I turned to Caitlin. "Come on let's go get some coffee," I said pulling her with me. She didn't even bother to protest cause she knew that would just be a waste of breathe. I love being difficult. It makes it easier to get my way. When we got to Jitters Caitlin sat at a table and I went and ordered. "Hey Aria what can I get you?" Iris asked. "Hey Iris can I get a cinnamon spice latte and a cappucino with whipped cream to go please?" I ordered. "Coming right up," I Iris said. I stood at the counter for a while watching the TV. Then there was footage of a current hostage situation at a bank. "Here's you go aria," Iris said handing me two cups. "Thanks," I said. I payed quickly then pointed out the situation to Caitlin. "Let's go," She said.

   When we got back I noticed Barry was there waiting for me. I went and changed my new costume that Cisco made me. "Ready Flash?" I asked grabbing my weapons. "Let's go Adrenaline," he replied. "Mind giving me a lift?" I asked him. "Hold on tight," he advised. We got to the scene in under ten seconds. "How do we get in? All the entrances are barracaded" Barry said. I created a ball of energy and shattered one of the big windows. "Found one," I said. I walked in and noticed all the criminals, which was four men, were staring at me. "I know I'm pretty but you don't need to stare," I said. One of the men took out a gun. "That's not very nice," Barry said now holding the gun. Next thing I know another one of the men had me. "You gonna let me go?" I asked. "No? Okay fine your choice," I said. I swung my leg up and kicked him in the face. He stumbled back. I took out my expandable bo staff and hit him in the head again. "Your gonna wanna ask the cops for some aspirin," I told him as I handcufffed him to a desk. Barry had already taken care of everyone else and had un barracaded the doors. "Time to go," he told me. We took off just after Detective West came in.

   We got back to S.T.A.R Labs and just chilled for a little bit. Then Detective West came in. "Great job at the bank Barry," he said. "Thanks Joe," he replied. "And this must be the woman in black the criminals were talking about," Joe said looking at me. "Her name is Adrenaline," Cisco said. "My name is Ariana Harper. Adrenaline is what Cisco calls me," I said. "Meta-human?" Joe asked Barry. He nodded. "What can she do?" Joe asked.  "Oh this will be fun," Cisco said. "Stop talking," I told him. He stopped talking. "Hey that is amazing," Joe said. "There is more," I told him. I looked Cisco in the eyes. "Tired," i said. Cisco began to sway. Then I grabbed his wrist and gave him some of my adrenaline. He perked back up. "Oh and one more thing," I said. I create a ball of energy the size of a tennis ball. "Okay she beats you in the powers department," Joe said to Barry. "She also was trained by the Arrow," Barry told Joe. "And in the skill department," He said. Barry started to pout. "Oh grow up Barry we already knew I was better," I teased. "Hey wanna come over for dinner we are having pizza," Barry said. "Only if you stop pouting," I told him. "Deal," he said.
