"See, someone's got the right attitude," Cap said.
"I've opened the forcefield generators, Captain. Feel free to take them out," I reported.
"Thanks, Ahmi," He said.
"The defense shield is down, Ahmi. How's that door coming?" He asked.
"Hard to hack a multi-billion dollar company with a thousand firewalls. Are you not having fun?" I asked.
"You managed to infiltrate my account pretty easily," Tony said.
"All I needed to do was guess a password. You still need to change that, by the way. Not that I was complaining at the time, your inflated ego was a help," I said.
"...Do you see what I'm seeing?" Cap asked.
"Those Adaptoids. They've got Inhuman powers," Kamala said.
"I see them. We've got our job, kid. Let Cap do his," Ms. Romanoff said.
"Reason must guide our future now. The time for heroes is over," MODOK sneered.
"Is the bobblehead still talking? Really?" Tony griped.
"Widow! Did you see that?!" Kamala had just taken out a whole swath of enemies at once while being really big.
"Sure did," Ms. Romanoff responded.
"I was like--Bam! You're history, buddy!" Kamala said excitedly.
"Kamala," She said.
"I know, I know. Focus," Kamala said sheepishly.
"Hey, I saw, and I thought you were awesome!" Tony said.
"Thanks!" Kamala chirped.
"Yeah, you were kinda awesome," She admitted.
A giant, sparkly purple bot appeared, looking very threatening. "Looks like the gloves are off now!" Cap cried.
"Were they ever on?!" Kamala asked.
"Keep them busy, I've almost got the door!" I called.
"Tony, how's the suit holding up?" Cap asked.
"This your way of asking me if I've put on a few pounds?" Tony teased.
"That's not what I meant," Cap admitted.
"Hey, not everyone's a Super Soldier, pal," Tony said.
"Ten bucks says Tony's on a juice cleanse," Ms. Romanoff said.
"I'll take that wager," Thor said.
"I'm with Romanoff," I called.
"I'll take the Fifth," Tony said.
"What d'you bet that Tony's taking some of those Super Soldier shakes he's cooked up?" I asked.
"Eh, twenty bucks," Ms. Romanoff replied.
"I made those for Cap!" Tony objected.
"Got the doors!" I called as they slid open.
"Najafi. Your ability to hack into my company is impressive," MODOK sneered.
"Isn't it really Monica's company? Captain, he's overriding the gates," I warned.
"I'm in. Hulk, keep 'em busy," Cap ordered.
"I'm in some sort of power conduit room. Probably for the last transmitter. Everything's electrified," Cap reported.
"Look for failsafe switches. AIM's gotta have a way to shut things down for repairs," I advised, snapping my computer shut and hopping off the quinjet into the fight.
"There's something wrong. We should have spotted Inhumans by now," Kamala cried.
"Think about how high-security the prison was. AIM's not gonna give them up that easy," She said.
"But we can't free them until we know AIM's not gonna gas them into Oblivion," Tony said.
"Tony. Some tact would be good," Cap advised.
"Right. Sorry, Kamala, Ahmi," Tony apologized, probably the first and last time he would ever do that.
"No, you're right. We have to stop that signal," I said.
"Already on it. Just keep me covered," Cap said.
"Captain, you weren't there. You didn't hear the testimonies. The pain. No one should have to live like this," MODOK jeered.
"On that, at least we agree," Ms. Romanoff said.
"I've seen what happens when the people in power decide who deserves to live, doctor. I'm not about to let history repeat itself," The Captain replied.
"Then don't force us to live through another A-Day," MODOK cried.
"I don't think you and I did, George. That's part of the problem. Found my way up. Here goes nothing. I'm almost there!" Cap informed.
"Woah!" There was the sound of shattering glass and I saw a Warship appear.
"Yoohoo, big brain, over here!" Tony, Thor, and Snake were quick to take it out.
"Be careful, Captain--I'm picking up strange electromagnetic readings in that tower," I warned.
"Couldn't be this easy," He sighed.
"Give 'em hell, Cap. I'll join you when I'm finished here," Tony said.
"I'll do my best. Gotta get these guys to unphase just to hit them. How are the rest of you doing?" Cap assured.
"I'm helping Black Widow kick butt!" Kamala chirped.
"Focus on the butts, kid," Ms. Romanoff reminded her.
"Oh, right," Kamala said.
"SHE's having a field day, that's for sure," I said as a few more bots fell into the ocean. Several black tendrils had spawned from my back, helping me move around and tear up enemies.
"I've got JARVIS working on the best way to get all these people out of here," Tony reported.
"Thank you," Kamala and I said.
"No need. Just doing what I should've a long time ago," Tony said.
"Not bad, Tony," She praised.
"But remember to tell Bruce about my brief moment of maturity," He added.
"You have ruined the moment," Thor chided.
"The transmitter's power source is somewhere just above you," I informed the Captain.
"Up it is," He muttered.
"Mind over matter," MODOK sneered.
"Looks like the transmitter is powered by three cores. Take these guys out and I'll give you a terminal to open their housing units," I said, sitting down at a crate and starting to make my way to the transmitter's coding.
"Copy that," He said. The tendrils in my back worked to defend me, whipping around and smacking enemies away.
"How many of these guys are there?" Tony gripped.
"Our cause is just, the number doesn't matter," Thor said.
"Funny--kinda feels like it matters," Tony mentioned.
"How's it going there, Captain?"
