(Kaylie's POV)

It was 7:00am, I walked down my very long, red shale driveway to the bus stop. The sun was just peaking through the trees. The birds were chirping so sweetly. I have no idea when the bus is going to get here, which kind of irritates me. I just hope it's not crowded.

It's 7:10am when the yellow school bus finally makes it's way down the road. It stops and I cross the road. As I got on, everyone was staring at me. Have they never seen someone walk on the bus before? I listened as everyone whispered around me and in the back. I chose to sit in the fourth seat on the right side, away from everyone else. I don't know anyone yet and I'm kind of nervous about how this bus ride is going to go. I'm starring out the window, lost in my own world.

We finally get to the school at 8:00am. Wow, I have a 45 minute bus ride in the morning, this sucks. I pull out my schedule and my school map to try to locate where my locker is. I finally got to my locker. I spun the combination in, that was easy. These lockers are HUGE, they're big enough for me to climb inside and I'm 5' 10" haha.

The bell is going to ring in 10 minutes to start homeroom. Yay, another place where I don't know anyone, ugh. I shoved my stuff in my locker and grabbed a binder, folder, and pencil out of my bag. As I walked into the room, more glares and whispering started happening. I quickly was greeted by one of the sweet girls I met at the orientation a few weeks ago. Okay, maybe I lied, I know at least two people here. Only because I met them at the orientation.

I was sitting quietly in my seat minding my own business and looking at my scedule again, when a crowd of girls come over to me asking a bunch of questions. One of which was a red headed girl with an amzing sense of style, named Taylor, who asked to see my schedule, along with the others.

Each one of them introduced themselves to me and welcomed me to the school. I had a bunch of classes with Taylor and either none or 1-2 with some of the others. They seem like nice girls.

All of my other classes went fine. More people introduced themselves to me. It is now time for my fifth period class, which happens to be my least favorite subject---History. We all had assigned seats, it took me a little while, but I found mine. It was the second row, second to last seat. I took out my schedule again. I have this class, sixth period, then lunch, yay!

I was sitting quietly in my seat, being the shy person that I am. I hear someone walk up to my seat, it's a guy. He's very cute too, we introduced ourselves, his name is Jake.

Jake: "Are you new here?"
Me: "Yeah I am."
Jake: "Can I see your schedule?"
Me: "Yeah, sure."
Jake: "Looks like we have fifth, sixth, and Lunch together. Where did you move from?"
Me: "Miami, Florida."
Jake: "Oh okay, only 3 hours distance. Well, welcome to Orlando!"

Jake seems pretty nice, don't even get me started on that smile. The bell rang to start class and the teacher began talking and passing out papers--my guess that they're the rules, requirements, and supplies needed. It was finally the last 2-3 minutes of class, when more people came up to me and were asking questions and looking at my schedule. The most common questions I was asked so far today were "Where are you from?" or "Are you new here?" lol.

I'm not the type of person that loves attention, I like to keep to myself and do things on my own. So, being crowded by people all morning makes me uneasy and a little nervous. I'm a shy person, what can I say. The schedule is mixed up today, since it's the first day of school.

Since the schedule was switched, I went to my 7th period class (math) instead of my first period class (english), ughh. I can't believe that happened. When I went to my english teacher I was sort of upset and freaking out, being new and all. I explained that I was new, so she understood.

Wow, the teachers here at this school are so much more nicer and have a much better attitude. They are pleasant here and not grumpy.

I'm starting to really like it here, even better than my old school. Oops, sorry not sorry. Even though I left my three best friends behind at my old school, I met some people so far that seem like pretty great people. One thing that you have to remember, is to be careful who you trust because some people are two-faced. Also, to watch what you say about other people to your friends. Don't talk about anyone to anyone. This is basically the best advice.

It is now 2:53pm, time to get back on the bus. I rushed to my locker quick and raced out to look for my bus, since I have no idea where it's parked. Turns out, the bus doesn't leave until 3:07pm. Oh gosh, the bus is now crowded, just what I wasn't hoping for. Greatt, now I'm packed three in a seat, me being on the inside by the window. This is just fantastic, perfect first day of school.

~~Author's Note~~
So, I've decided to give writing another chance. I actually planned how I want this book to go, for once haha. It's not the most interesting part I know haha. My other works were eh, so I might revisit them and either edit or delete them. I use/used way too much dialogue in my other books, so that's not going to happen this time. I'm also thinking about writing a OneDirection FanFiction, even though I'm not really a fan of them, no hate please. So, comment or message me about which band member you think should be the main character and focus in the book. I don't know when I will be able to update this book because my life is really crazy at the moment. But, I have an updating schedule in my bio.
