Those were the exact words that are stuck on my head for about a week now. Words that are now tested and proven by me--by US rather.

"Hindi kita sasaktan, Gela. Just trust me." I closed my eyes as i started to reminisce all of our past memories together.

All of those sweet little lies that i admit i missed.

All of those promises that i thought he'd fulfill.

All of those memories with him that i cherished but meant nothing to him.

2016:

"Angela Marissa Muñoz, ngayong napatunayan ko na sa'yo na ika'y aking nag-iisang tinatangi. Maari mo na ba'kong bigyang chansa na ika'y makasama, mayakap at mahagkan, damayan ka sa ubod ng aking makakaya?" Chester stated as he looked at me.

All of the people around us turned their gazes towards me. Halos lahat yata ng nandidito sa park ay kusang natahimik at naghintay ng maisasagot ko.

I bit my lips as i slowly nodded.

With that, I saw how Chester's eyes fleed with joy.

"YESSS! SINAGOT NYA NA'KO! NARINIG N'YO YUN? SHE FINALLY SAID YES!!" He shouted repeatedly. Naiiling nalang akong napahampas sa balikat n'ya.

"Buti 'di ka napagod kakahintay 'no? 8 months kaya ang panliligaw na ginawa mo." i stated.

"It was worth the wait Gela." i smiled with the thought of him being loyal to me after 8 months.

2017:

"I love you bansot! Sabi sa'yo aabot tayo 1 year e." I greeted Chester with a big hug but sadly, he just tapped my hand. Nagulat ma'y 'di ko nalang pinahalata. Maybe he just had a bad day?

"Uy, ayos ka lang ba?" I asked but i received no response.

Hindi naman ako ganon katanga para hindi mapansin ang unti-unting pagbabago ni Chester sa'kin e. He's giving me the 'cold treatment', in a way na hindi ko rin alam kung bakit..

I was about to go when i felt my phone vibrated inside my pocket. Agad ko rin naman itong inilabas and was shocked to see the messages my bestfriend sent me.

'Breakup with Chester, Gela. That guy has been cheating on you.'

I shrugged with the thought of Chester cheating on me. Lol patawa talaga tong si Ashley, Chester could never cheat on me.. He wouldn't right?

I was caught off-guard when i saw Chester's phone rang. I went closer at it as i closed my eyes and pressed the answer button.

"Love asan ka na ba? Kanina pa'ko naghihintay dito sa favourite spot natin. Ang tagal tagal mo. Hmp! I'll order us food nalang ha? Ano ba gust---" di ko na kinaya pa ang pagsasalita ng babae at pinatay na ang tawag.

So that's it huh? He really c-cheated?

I bit my tounge as hard as i can to stop my tears from falling but sooner as Chester's face popped out of the kitchen, i finally said the words that i thought i could never say.
