I long to go back to the Labyrinth (Jareth X Sarah story)

Chapter 3-Through The Crystal

A/n: As I am writing this chapter it is January 10th. Im watching Labyrinth while crying my eyes out. I love David Bowie so much. So going back to the story, this chapter will be from his point of view.

Jareth's pov:

I watched through one of my crystals as Sarah denied knowing why she was here. She should remember. It's not like I gave her another peach. Why would she like to her friends. I put the crystal down and slouched in my thrown. I watched as the goblins in the thrown room danced around and laughed but I wasn't in that kind of mood.

I excused myself and walked out to the gardens. It should be night soon. Not long before Sarah wished herself away, I had redone the Labyrinth. This was partly because she had said it was a piece of cake on her last visit here.

I sighed as I watched the orange sky slowly turn a dark purple as it grew darker. The gardens are on a balcony outside of my bedroom. I find that it is a quite place where I can think. It's far away from all the goblins and girls that think life is not fair.

I turned several crystals around in my hand. I let my thoughts fade away as I focused on the slowly swaying of the flowers in the garden. I won't meddle with Sarah this time. I'll leave her alone. She already hates me anyways. You have no power over me. Her words played over and over again in my head. I layed down on the cold bricks of the garden floor. She should be fine if she stays with her friends. Besides, that's what she has always wanted and if she wants that, then well... that's what I want for her.

I walked inside to my room and sat on my bed. I turned my wrist and a crystal appeared in my hand. I turned it back and forth aross the back of my hand and my palm. What is it? It's a crystal. I thought about what happened the first time I had met Sarah. I had offered her a crystal similar to the one that is now in my grasp. As I turned it back and forth a thin layer of smoke appeared and soon after I saw my dream within it.

A/n: this wasn't a super long chapter. I start school back tomorrow and today is kind of a hard day to write about Bowie. Also I just ordered a ring that says "it's only forever, not long at all" on it and I'm so excited. I also ordered little button pins with pics of the Labyrinth characters on them. I got them off of Etsy. I'm so excited.
