❝ She came to see her sisters, ❞ 

SWAY'S POV
As soon as Bryce had stepped a foot into the living room, he was being drilled with questions.

"What is going on?!"

"Why did you carry Grace in like that?"

"How did she let you in?"

As the questions kept coming, Bryce rolled his eyes, groaning as he squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for everyone to stop. Seeing Bryce's face, one by one, everyone stopped talking. When it was fully quite, Bryce finally spoke up.

"Are you done now? Can I speak?" He asked, his voice half annoyed and filled with sarcasm. 

"Not unless your going to tell us what's going on," Josh snapped back, a bit annoyed now at the boy in front of him.

But just as Bryce was about to answer him, Jaden spoke up, 

"Where is Dixie?" 

"And Charli?" Addison added, earning a few weird glances from the others.

"Charli? When did she come here?" Josh asked, is voice eager to know.

"A bit ago, she came with me," Addison explained, her brows furrowing as everyone looked back at Bryce for answers.

"Bryce..?" Noah trailed off, watching as Bryce tried to make up a scenario where it could work.

"She came to see her sisters," Bryce shrugged loosely, opening his mouth to say more, but slowly, his eyes widened and just as Josh's did as well.

"Bryce," A voice came from behind him, the familiar one making him turn around. When he did, he came face to face with Dixie. She was on the last step, staring— more like glaring— at Bryce. 

"Wait you and Grace are sisters..?" Griffin asked, but no one looked at him, watching the two loom at each other.

"I-I didn't—" He started to talk, but Dixie was quick to shut him down.

"You idiot!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands up in frustration. 

"I told you not to say anything!"

"I didn't realize it," Bryce mumbled. He raised his hand, rubbing his forehead a bit before running them through his hair.

"I told you she would feel stressed, but you still said something!"

"I didn't do it on purpose!" This time Bryce yelled back, trying to defend himself.

"Well you still said it!" Dixie continued to argue, standing up for her sister. 

"Why don't you think before you speak!"

"Wha— I do! I just didn't realize it, come on!"

"Bryce I swear to go—"

"SHUT UP!" A voice came from behind the both of them, on the top of the stairs. Stopping mid argument, everyone looked up and saw Grace walking down the stairs. She was wearing Bryce's PAU merch, though since it was his it was a bit oversized on her. The sleeves reached past her arms, good covering the cuts, and the end reached a bit under her butt, reaching the leggings she was wearing. Her hair was freshly wet, just coming out the shower and all, and she didn't have any makeup on.

Bryce took a second and stared at her, finding her current look kind of cute. But as she came closer, he shook out of his thoughts.

Grace rubbed her head, still not looking up at anyone, knowing everyone was looking at her. 

"You guys are giving me a headache," She mumbled finally reaching the bottom stair.

"So your sisters?" Griffin repeated, this time gaining the attention of the others. Slowly, Grace furrowed her brows, now realizing what the fight she interrupted, was about.

"Yea," Dixie grumbled, sending a glare to Bryce, who just rolled his eyes. Grace sighed, rubbing her already red eyes, finally looking behind Bryce and looking everyone behind him.

Josh was the first to see her eyes when they made eye contact. First he noticed her red eyes, then her tear stained cheeks that had slowly faded away, then he noticed the way her eyes nervously flickered to the floor and back to everyone else.

"Whats happened?" Josh asked, now standing up and moving next to Bryce, watching Grace the whole time.

After staring at the ground the whole time, hearing Josh's voice being mostly directed at her, she finally looked up at him. She sighed, opening her mouth to speak, 

"I-"
