GRACE'S POV The boy I ran into look upset just like I am, so I decided to stay around and maybe I can make a friend, who doesn't know me or what my family life is or who my sisters are.
"so...why are you here alone, if you don't mind me asking?" Josh asked me
"uh...I just some family problems I needed a break from. what about you?" I respond not going into any details
"oh, I was just thinking about my feelings, but the boys I live with kept pestering me about it so I came here." Josh says sitting in the sand next to me
"oh...I'm sorry about that." I reply not really knowing how to respond to that
"it's not your fault, they just get annoying sometimes" Josh responds
"yea, boys can get annoying" I say letting out a giggle
"Do you wanna come meet the boys at the sway house?" Josh asks wanting me to meet his friends
"not today, sorry. I should get going home" I say standing up and brushing the sand off of me
"could i at least get your number, so we can talk whenever we need it?" Josh asks standing up as well
"yea, i'd like that." I respond giving him my number
"bye grace!" he says as he walks to his car
"bye josh!" I respond following him to my car
We get up and go to our cars. I hop in my car to see that Charli and Dixie have called multiple times since I have been gone for a couple of hours. I quickly search up local hotels, to stay the night in since it's getting dark. Deciding I will look for apartments tomorrow, I drive off to the hotel I just booked. After checking in, I texted our sister group chat, letting them know I'm ok.
I have just checked into the hotel, and brought enough stuff in for the night, leaving everything else in my car. After texting my sisters, I quickly showered and changed into light blue sweats with a white tank top and a cropped grey zip-up jacket.
