Hi again:)
If you didn't notice, chapters have weird names. Well these are actual words in english that are not commonly used but that have a meaning related to the events. If you wanna search it up then great! If not, just ask and I will love to answer :)

Long way down - Tom Odell

Adam:

What the hell am I doing in this middle-of-nowhere town? Weren't we just starting a new life in London? Well I gotta believe we weren't since our mother brought us here a year after dad died.

Let's say that life back there had been pretty tough for us the first few months without the man that my brother and I had for a father. Truth is, he wasn't our biological father, but it felt like he was and he treated us like his children.

I wouldn't say I was missing the rude man that Gordon was, but losing him also meant losing the money that came with his hugely important job. We basically got pretty broke after he was gone since our mom was a photographer and an art teacher at the same time, which didn't bring much money to the family.

I didn't work, and didn't want to. But I eventually considered getting a job to finally get my own apartment and do wathever I want to, whenever I want to.

We arrived yesterday in this small town and I already missed the big city of London with it's big parties. Let's not forget all those hot models i got to meet, thanks to my mom's job as a fashion photographer. She basically chose to move here since it's not too expensive and since it's close to Manhattan, where she will work most of the time.

- "Adam what are you doing up there man? It's time to go teach the people here how to have some real fun ;)" he actually winked, what the hell?

It was my younger brother Connor. I didn't blame him to wanna have fun though because this place is really starting to get boring. Back in London, there wasn't one single night that we would not spend turning up with people. Yup, that's how we were.

I got to say that, honestly, tonight, I didn't feel like partying much. Well if we were back in England, sure but here... Eh. My brother counted on me so I followed him anyways.

Putting my leather coat on, I joined my brother and we both rode our motorcycles all around the city, until we saw that club-like place called Krash. Seems like this place was the only hot spot in town anyways, so we decided to go check it out.

Maiyu:

I felt great arriving at the Krash. Music emanating from the big metal cube that was this place, lights of all colors that you could see from outside through the small window at the top, yep, this was the spot.

Pushing the large silver metallic door, I went inside and quickly nodded to the security guy, who knew me and my group well enough to know that we were good tippers even though we were a little underage. After all, we were the ones to keep the party loud all night, which made clients come and stay.

Eh, we were pretty awesome.

Although, I have to say my popularity was mostly because of Madeline. And the other girls we were hanging out with. And also the fact that Faith, the most beautiful black girl you have ever seen in your life, was going out with the football team quarterback, Owen.

Once inside, I immediatly searched for my friends.

That's when I saw him, sitting at the bar.

I saw his eyes, actually. They were on me too.

I automatically knew he was one of the new brothers Avery was getting all crazy about.

I got to say, he was hot. More specifically, dark. But it was hot. His piercing gaze actually intimidated me. I looked away for a few seconds, but my eyes immediately went back on him.

He almost looked angry. With his dark grey eyes and his very, very strong jaw that looked like it was being flexed. His muscled arms and his earrings that looked like real diamonds. He looked flawless, really. His lips were not too big, not too small, and very kissable.

Well, what was I thinking now? Knowing Madeline, she was most likely hitting on him already and I better not interfere in that.

Next to him was another guy, a little shorter, and his complete opposite. Dimpled smile, dirty blonde beach boy hair. He really looked like a masculine version of Avery, who was actually standing next to him and who seemed to have a deep conversation with her "twin".

- "Maiyu you're hereeee! Come on and dance with us" , Madeline said with a high-pitched voice that already told me she was pretty wasted.

- "I just arrived Mads, let me take a drink first and I'll join you guys", I told her, directing my attention to the bar to see if the guy was still there, but I was surprised to see he wasn't.

"Crap", I thought. But I took it back. "It's better like that anyways 'cause he is totally not the recommendable type of person you want to be hanging out with, Maiyu" I told myself.

So I went to the bar, smiling at Avery so she would notice my arrival, ordered an amaretto sour, my favorite, and went to join Madeline and Faith on the dance floor, surrounded by many other people whom I couldn't even remember the name.
