Chapter 22

Kaylee's P.O.V

It was now 6:30 and I was getting my last belongings together. I can't help but feel empty. I really don't want to go, but I have too. I want a new life. I can't help but just want to end my life sometimes. Run away and just never look back.
I really hope moving to a different country will help.

"Kaylee. Let's go." My "Mom" said.

"O-Ok" I said my voice cracking.

I walked out my door and looked back at my empty room.

"This is it" I whisper to myself.

I head downstairs and out of the house not looking back once. I can't look back. I walk out to the car and got in not saying a word. I hear the drivers side car door open and I look over and see my "mom" get in and my "dad" get in the passenger seat. Then my sister next to me. I look at her and roll my eyes. She looks down.

I look out the window looking at all the kids outside playing with heir friends. I wish I was still a kid. No worries. No drama. I feel the car stop and realize we are at the airport I look at the clock and see that my plane is leaving in 10 minutes. I get out of the car and grab my luggage. I look back to the city and shed a tear. This is goodbye. We all walk in to the airport and as soon as we walk in the announcements, announce that my plain is now boarding I look at my parents, and hug each one of them. I look at my Katherine and gave her a dirty look and walk off to the plane. Not one 'I love you' or 'I will miss you' was exchanged. This is it.

//After Plane Ride\\
I got off the plane and walk out and see hundreds of people. I look around and see a sign that says "Smith". I inhale and exhale, walking up them.

My mom looks up to me and smiles really wide. I gentally smile back. I may be mad at them for giving me up for adoption but I can't fight. I'm to broken inside and out to be mad at anyone.

"You are even prettier in person!" My mom said attacking me in a bear hug.

"Thank you" I say back.

"Hi honey" my dad says.

"Hi D-Dad" I say hesitantly.

He smiles bigly.

I look over and see 3 other kids. 2 boys and 1 girl.

"This is AJ, He's 17 just like you. " My mom says pointing the oldest one.

"Then there's Kenzie, she is 15" she said pointing the girl. She was gorgeous. She had pretty brown hair and blue eyes. She was short and slim.

"Last but not least there's Sebastian, he's 13" she said pointing to the youngest one.

"Hi I'm Kaylee, and like she already kinda said... I'm 17" I said smiling.

The three kids just laughed and attacked me in a hug.

"We know who you are" Kenzie said.

"Alright a lets go!" My dad said.

We all walked out to the car and got in and drove home. As soon as we parked I looked out and saw a gigantic house. It was 5x bigger than my other house. I got out for he car and looked at the mansion.

"Wow" I said.

"I know right" AJ said.

I smiled softly.

We walk into the house and Kenzie shows me to my room. It's huge. I go in there and change. It's really chilly over here so I change into white skinny jeans and my black hoodie that said "Just living life" on it. I grabbed my penny board that I packed and went downstairs to ask if I could go outside.

"Hey guys, can I go outside" I asked my parents.

"Of course, do you want one of your siblings to go with you?" My mom responded.

"No I'm good" I say smiling.

"Ok be back at 8, it's 3:30 right now."

I looked at them confused. It's only 3:30. I then remembered I am in a different country.

"Ok" I said walking out.

I rode off on my penny board and down the street I kept on riding until I saw a really cute boy with 3 other guys. He looked at me and smiled. I got so distracted I ran right into a trashcan and fell on my butt. Oh my god! HOW EMBARRASSING! He looked worried. He walked over to me leaving his friends behind and came over to me.

"Are you ok???" He asked while lending me a hand.

I gladly reached his hand and said "Yeah I'm sorry I'm very clumsy" I giggled.

He smiled.

"I'm Kaylee!" I said breaking the silence.

He smiled and said "Hi I'm Luke."
