Cassandra had come home to her drunk foster father landing her a bruise on her right cheek. She aggressively applied foundation onto her cheek in hopes to cover the bruise. This wasn't something new for her it was a normal occurrence. She looked at herself in the mirror in the tight red cheer uniform. It had beacon hills printed in big sparkly letters on her chest. She picked up her white pom poms and studied herself in the mirror. She stared at the sparkly white bow in her hair that was in a half up half down look. She looked at her toned stomach that was revealed in the crop top and she stared at her boobs pushed up in the top. She looked at her butt that was nearly popping out of her short skirt and rolled her eyes at the sight of herself. She was told by people she was stunning but she never believed them. She didn't feel beautiful right now especially because of the beaten she had just taken. She looked at her face closely in the mirror making sure no one could see the bruise. She sighed as she plastered a fake smile on her face. She stared at herself in the mirror hoping no one would be able to tell that the smile was very much fake. Her smile fell at the thought of Stiles being able to see through her fakeness. She sighed as she ran a hand through her hair as she heard a car horn blaring outside her house. Lydia was picking her up so they could.....as Lydia would put it "get there early to look at all the hot guys."

"You look hot!" Lydia yelled at the girl as she got into her car. "Thanks you always look hot Lydia.... you are literally stunning." Cassandra replies as she looks at the other girl in her cheer uniform. "So..... Stiles is going to be there." Lydia says playfully as she nudges Cassandras arm. Cassandra rolls her eyes as she looks over at Lydia. "I don't like him like that." Cassandra mumbles causing Lydia to scoff. "I am not blind Cassie.... plus I'm your best friend.... I know when you are lying." Lydia replies playfully as she teases her friend. Cassandra felt pain in her hands and she knew for a fact they were darkened underneath her sleeves. She was happy her cheer uniform was long sleeved to cover up her arms. Lydia parked directly next to the blue jeep in the school parking lot. The two girls grabbed their bags and poms and headed to the field as Lydia made fun of the other girl for how obvious her crush on Stiles was.

"Come on McCall! You call that lacrosse my grandma can do that!" Coach yelled across the field at the boys warming up. Stiles was laughing as he teased his best friend. His smile soon fell as his eyes landed on a familiar  blonde haired girl walking beside her best friend with red hair. He gulped as he looked her up and down. Her cheer uniform hugged every curve on her body and her hair flowed perfectly in the wind. He found himself completely focusing all his attention on her. He watched as she laughed at something Lydia said to her as the two sat on the bench together. Cassandras eyes scanned the field before meeting the eyes of Stiles. He looked quickly looked away hoping she wouldn't catch him staring. He was wearing his red lacrosse jersey and holding his lacrosse stick. She smiled at him as she waved at him. He quickly waved back at her before looking away. Cassandra had planned on being sad for the entire night but seeing Stiles made her happier. She couldn't be upset around the boy and she hated the way he had an affect over her.

"Ladies! You are looking very nice tonight." A male voice says causing Lydia to groan. The two girls turned their attention to Jackson as he sat on the bleachers next to Cassandra. Cassandra quickly scooted closer to Lydia in order to not be so close to the annoying boy. "Don't you have a ball to throw or something?" Lydia asks him sharply causing him to laugh. "Shouldn't you be fixing your makeup?" He asks her playfully. Lydia frantically pulls out her phone in order to make sure her makeup isn't messed up. Cassandra kept her eyes on the field as she felt Jackson's eyes scanning her body. "Jackson get your ass back on the field!" Coach yelled at him causing Cassandra to sigh in relief.

"See you around beautiful." Jackson whispers in Cassandras ear before running onto the field. Cassandra gagged as her and Lydia made fun of Jackson. Cassandra knew Lydia liked Jackson but she couldn't understand why. "I would like to get into that little tight skirt of hers." Jackson whispers to Danny loudly. Stiles and Issac both look at each other and roll their eyes as they eavesdrops in on Jackson conversation. "Which one? Lydia or Cassandra?" Danny asks the other boy curiously. "Cassandra.... why would I be talking about Lydia?" Jackson asks him sharply. "Didn't you like date her the other week?" Danny asks him sharply. "Yeah which means I've already been in her pants... Cassandras a challenge.... Lydias too easy." Jackson mumbles as he stares at the girl.

"Cassandras not a challenge for everyone.....she just doesn't like you." Stiles mumbles as he pushes past the boy. "Seems like she's a challenge for you to since you haven't been able to date her either Stilinski." Jackson replies sharply as he stares at the other boy. Stiles rolls his eyes as he tries to focus on warming up but can't help but look over at Jackson staring at Cassandra. "She's not playing a game with you Jackson.... she will never ever give you the time of day." Stiles tells him sharply. "Everybody wants me Stilinski..... just because you have a little crush on her doesn't mean you have to pretend like I don't have any chances with her." Jackson says sharply as he makes sure to run into Stiles shoulder. "Stiliknski! Jackson! Get over here!" Coach yelled at both of them. They both quickly ran over to coach who was standing in a circle with the entire team. Stiles noticed more girls had shown up and the Cheerleaders had started warming up. Cassandra was bent over stretching her hands to the ground. Jackson whistled at her and started growling at her.

"Jackson stop... just stop.....my ears hurt at those sounds you just made!" Coach yelled at him causing Jackson to quickly look away from her. Cassandra pretended she couldn't hear Jackson yelling at her and making weird noises as she continued to ignore him. She felt another pair of eyes on her causing her to look up and notice Stiles staring at her. The second their eyes met he  quickly looked away from her. Her face flushed a shade of red as she looked away from the boy. She started practicing her tumbling as parents started showing up and sitting on the bleachers. "Hey Cassie!" Mr. Stilinski yelled at her as she landed a back flip.

"Hey...." She replied softly as she smiled at him while he sat down on the bleachers. "You think Stiles will finally get to play tonight?" Mr. Stilinksi asked her in a hopeful tone. She glanced over at the boy tripping over his own stick and falling over on the field. She laughed as she shook her head. "I think it's a possibility." She replies playfully as she laughs. Mr. Stilinski laughs with her as they both watch Stiles stand up and send them both a wave with his hand.  "Maybe next year...." Stiles dad says in a hopeful tone. Cassandra tells him goodbye as she walks back over to the cheer squad. She noticed Allison in the stands with her dad. Her dad was staring at Cassandra with concerned eyes. Cassandra was confused at first before she realized her sleeve had rolled up revealing her veiny darkened arm. She quickly pulled her sleeve down and gave him a weak smile causing him to quickly look away from her. She knew that Allison's dad was an Argent and she knew he would easily be able to figure out what she was if she gave him enough clues.
