Too Happy to Notice

Draco's POV

I let out a sigh and went to grab something to drink.

Blaise danced over to me. 

"You look like a idiot" i scoffed.

"You mean i look dashing" he said as he jokingly fluttered his eye lashes.

I took a giant swig of punch and immediately felt the familiar burning sensation in my throat.

"Slow down mate" Blaise said moving closer to me "Seamus spiked the punch" he started laughing.

I faked a smile and let it fall quicker then it appeared.

Blaise danced back over to Mia and as they were laughing along i felt the same loneliness and emptiness i felt since Heather left.

As i noticed more and more of the couples the feeling grew deeper.

It felt like someone was stabbing me in the heart.

I took another giant swig of the punch trying to ease the feeling.

"Malfoy" a familiar voice said.

I turned around and saw potter looking up at me.

"Im sorry Potter have you gone mad? you actually think you can talk to me?" i asked.

He shook his head and spoke "I know why you're so pissed. We know who you'd be here with if she didnt lea-"

I grabbed him by his color and shoved him against the wall.

"Don't talk about her" I snapped.

"Calm down Malfoy" he said.

"NO! i'm done with you idiots telling me to calm down and telling me to get over it, WHEN IT'S NOT YOUR PLACE TO TELL ME TO GET OVER IT" i yelled. 

He looked around the room and his eyes fell on something behind me.

"Look at me!" I yelled.

I turned my head and saw no one was paying attention to me and potter.

Their heads were all turned towards the same thing.

I let potter go and searched the room for what everyone was staring at.

Then i saw her at the top of the stairwell.

The most beautiful girl in the word.

And time stopped.

Heathers POV

I grabbed my heals and the sides of my dress and dashed out of the door and ran through the halls.

"God the one thing snape said was to not be late" I said under my breath.

I ran for what felt like forever when i finally made it.
