going from a sunny town in california, to a gloomy one was a hard thing to get use. being the new kid in town, caught the attention of many in the neighborhood and at school. even though it was a scary experience to go through, y/n was excited to have a fresh start. she didn't have any problems back in california but it's always good to have a fresh new start in a new environment.
the plane ride was long consisting of crying kids and drooling old men. after all she did travel during the night. when she finally got out of the airport, she felt relieved and tired.
when she got out of her car looking at her new house, she thought how different it was from her old one. it was definitely bigger but wasn't some dramatic change. it wasn't big nor small making it the perfect size for her and her family.
unpacking was always a pain but she did it anyways. picking the color for her room, and setting everything up was fun but when doing so, she caught the eye of someone. some boy coming out of his house with messy fluffy hair. the sound of laughter erupted from him when he saw his friends coming up his driveway. she didn't know what it was about but she couldn't help but stare.
when her and the mystery boy met, they were both very quiet. they weren't really good with talking so it was quite awkward.
she smiled feeling herself watching him talk to his friends and watching them make some tik toks together. one of his friends noticed that she was looking and he smiled at her waving. she felt slightly embarrassed but waved back. she closed the curtains feeling stupid because she got caught.

"what are you waving at?" robert said squinting as the sun came on his red face.
"kairi's gf" ale teased
i looked down rolling my eyes feeling my cheeks heat up. the embarrassment was eating me but i couldn't hide it. i met her a few days ago and i couldn't help but see how pretty she was.
"he's blushing" mattia teased
"shut up i'm not"
"yes you were"
"no i wasn't. i don't even like her"
"so you wouldn't mind if i were to go and ask her out?" ale said
