in this world, there is many types of people with different looks and personalities. some were stuck in groups that acted like them while others isolated themselves from the outside world.
y/n and kairi were both teens with different interests and different families. they thought that it was impossible to find something in common but it wasn't. with them both having suicidal thoughts roaming their brains, they didn't even think the obvious.
more than 5 failed attempts, it had made them go miserable. all they wanted to do was die but god wasn't giving them that chance. they would get so frustrated to the point where they just wanted to give up.
the life that was given to kairi was to be perfect. being constantly told to get good grades, do things right, even how to act finally got to him. he would argue, talk back, and not follow his parents wishes. the lectures he would get would always result in arguing but not anymore. those lectures didn't even faze him anymore. he just ignored it.
the yelling that was going at him was going in one ear and out the other. if he wasn't getting scolded at he was in the corner of the room, being indivisible to the world.
as for y/n her parents were there but they didn't seem to care. they favored her older sister while y/n sat on the side getting told how awful she was.
her parents treated her like she wasn't even a person but more like an object you can take your anger out on.
for years they both thought that they would end up dead but it never happened. they shared the same birthday and they were finally turning 17. in one year they would be adults and that's when they planned to end it all at the bridge.
the bridge was a quiet place and it was abandoned. nobody dared to pass through those gates. people thought it was your gateway to death, so it was never to be passed by anyone. once hearing about that bridge, both kairi and y/n ran to it as their ticket to freedom. when they crossed paths their lives changed.
y/n
"y/n wake up."
her voice. it was something i never enjoyed hearing. her name. always being thrown with positive thoughts. her looks. she dresses simple, basic, but "respected" herself as a women. her everything. she was something you couldn't take your eyes off if. while i was someone you couldn't even look at. i kept my eyes close hoping that my perfect sister would go away.
