Part 20

"Morning y/n!!!" Wishing yourself, you stretched your arms out and woke up after a very sweet dream that you couldn't remember. All that was going in your mind was, Max acting strange last evening, throughout the studying session and how he repeatedly asked you more than enough times to check your drawer early in the morning as soon as you wake up.

"Ugh." You exclaimed and jumped off your bed towards the drawer, only to get surprised by a pile of puzzles. Rolling your eyes, you cursed Max alot of times in your mind. Solving puzzles was the least thing you wanted to do early in the morning, and that too so randomly.

Anyways, the situation seemed a bit strange and captured your enough interest to make you solve the puzzle right at the moment and you frowned after reading the words formed on the final project.

"The garden."

You slided away the curtain to look out the window towards the garden and their you saw something shining, instantly making you curious as you ran to the garden, just to find a mirror with a note behind it. Another clue.

"Ajhussi's restaurant."

You unconsciously smiled and ran inside to hang your jacket on your shoulder to run with the chit in your hand, towards the famous restaurant. And there you found a purple balloon, just outside the main gate of the restaurant, hanging in air due to helium filled in it. You checked around but found none other clue, but popping the balloon wasn't a bad idea to get one.

"The park."

"The train station."
.
"School playground."
.
"University auditorium."
.
"Professor Jung's office."  The hell?

And after endlessly running to certain places, you breathed heavily, making a decision about if the next place won't be the destination, you'd leave the uninvited game there itself. Unfortunately the next clue caught your attention as you scoffed and ran to the place mentioned.

Running above the staircase of your own house, you pushed away the door of the terrace to get welcomed by a loud scream of some dumb people, considered to be Taehyung, jimin, Yuna, jungkook and Max.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!!" They jumped with some balloons and confettis to throw on you.

"Fuck you." Those were the words that left your mouth at the moment while you stood there with a blank expression and maybe a bit of annoyance in your mood, because of all the chaos and run that you experienced a while ago, just to get back to the same place you started with. What makes it a more big deal is, it's your own house.

"Not so soon baby." That smug look with his boxy smile, wrapped his hands around your neck while he joked and pulled you further but you glared at him in return, while the others were giggling with excitement.

"Don't even try, I'm amazed equally as you. They just told me to place those puzzles in your drawer but I had no idea we'd end up here." Max said, out loud, proving his innocency when you looked at all of them with that deadly glare of yours which could cause night mares to anyone.

"It's not even my birthday!" You pushed taehyung away and looked at them all like they were the dumbest people in this universe.

"Oh hell y/n, it is." Taehyung rolled his eyes back.

"No it's not! Wait!" You furiously took your phone out to check the calendar while the others stood there straight and silent, observing your actions, only the sound of wind could be heard while all the excitement and joy went in vain for that while. A balloon popped out of the blue, adding more to that silent, awkward and funny scene.

The place was decorated as if for a small kid around 5 years's birthday celebration. No doubt they did it on their own and you were not at all judging their skills because that's how you liked it, sweet, simple and real. Throwing big parties were not needed and the effort on these small occasions lead to the memories, that's what you always thought and even if it wasn't your special day, you appreciated how your friends knew your choices so well.
