1 || One perfect morning

Story is written as Meredith's pov

"I can't live without you." I send a cute message to Addison as a surprise, even tho I'm in the same house

It is a typical tuesday morning in Seattle. Addison is in the kitchen making breakfast

"Morning sleepy!" Addison says with a smile

"Morning," I say and walk up to Addison to give her a kiss

We have been living together for a year now. It has been seriously amazing, I feel the happiest every day

"How did you sleep babe?" Addison asks

"Oh I slept well! You?"

"I didn't sleep really well, I stayed up all night thinking about you as my future wife," Addison says and laughs

I look at the ring on my finger. Oh yeah, a lot has happened since you last read about us. Addison asked me to marry her a week ago

"Aren't you just the cutest," I smirk and sit down

Addison brings me breakfast. She has made some eggs, bacon and toast. I can't believe I deserve her in my life

She sits down next to me and we start eating together

"When does your shift start today?"

"At 2, I'm on call this evening," I say

"Hey me too! We haven't worked together for weeks!" Addison says excitedly

"You're right! Since I've been a resident, we haven't worked together at all. But that's on Bailey," I laugh

"She seriously thinks that I couldn't do my job while having you around," Addie says, "Ok well I understand her, It would be hard for me to concentrate while my hot fiancée is right next to me"

I blush and laugh

When we get to work, Cristina's the first one to greet us

"Ahh the happiest couple is here, together. Please guys I can't take your talks about your amazing life right now. I'm too tired," Cristina says and smiles amused

"Don't worry Cristina, your twisted sister won't say a word about us," Addison says and laugs

"Ugh thank god," Cristina says

"Omg my favorite couple's here!!" Amelia runs to us

"Hi Amelia! Where have you been?" I ask, since Amelia hasn't been around for weeks

"I went to visit Derek!" she says

Oh right you haven't heard. Derek moved to Los Angeles, apparently he went to work to some clinic with his old friends..

"How is he?" I ask carefully

"Oh he's doing fine! He's happy for you, by the way," Amelia says and smiles

"Okay good. I have honestly been worried. But I'm glad he's okay," Addison says

"Well I gotta go now. It was so nice to see you again Ames! Come by some day!" I say and start walking away

"Okay Mer! Have a good day at work!" Amelia says after me
