First morning after Arizona moved in with Meredith and Addison
"Good morning Arizona! How'd you sleep?" I say while making sure I don't burn the toasts
"Morning! I slept well, I guess," Arizona says a bit down
"The first mornings are the hardest. I'm sorry Az," Addison says and gives Arizona a hug
"Thanks. I'll get used to waking up alone," Arizona says
"I know you will. But now you need to eat," I say and put everything on the table
"I don't understand how you have time for all this. Callie never had time to make breakfast," Arizona says
"My almost-wife's a superhero," Addison says and smiles at me
"I'm literally jealous of you guys," Arizona laughs a bit
Addison smiles and starts packing up her bag
"I gotta leave for work, morning shift.." she says as she looks like she would rather do anything but go to work
"Have a good day at work!" Arizona waves
"Have a nice day, I love you," I say and give Addison a kiss
"Thanks babe, love you too," she says and makes her way out of the house
"When does your shift start?" Arizona asks me
"Oh I have the day off, luckily," I say
"Omg me too! Wanna spend the day together?" Arizona asks me excitedly, "I could use some company.." she then continues and I notice how her voice lowers down slightly
"Of course. What do you think we should do today?" I ask with a smile
"I may have couple ideas.. Go change your clothes and then we'll leave," Arizona says a bit mysteriously
"Okay?"
After changing my clothes, I walk downstairs and see Arizona standing in front of the door looking excited. She seems to really need this..
"Are you ready?" she asks
"Always"
First Arizona drives to a place I've seen in Seattle one thousand times but never visited, the space needle.
"Wait. Are you telling me that we're gonna go up there?" I ask
"Definitely! I've never been there but I've wanted to go ever since I moved to Seattle!" Arizona smiles
After arriving on top of the huge building, we walk right to the edge of the tower. From up there, you can see the entire Seattle.
"Wow. This is beautiful," I gasp
"I know! Who would've thought that Seattle would be this pretty!" Arizona says
Suddenly Arizona turns to look at me and takes my hand
"Hey, thank you for taking care of me like this. I'm so grateful for you and Addison," she says
"Of course we'll take care of you. You need us and we're ready to do anything for you," I smile
