After cheerleading practice has finished, I dismissed the team earlier than usual since my mind hasn't been with me the whole day which the team was grateful or else they know I will grind them until the routine is perfection. Well, I believe in my team and I know we will be alright for the rivalry game tomorrow.

As I bid farewell to everyone, I made my way to the carpark of the school and got into my Mazda RX7 and sped on home. Going home feels a bit empty for me, I know we live in a well off neighborhood and my parents have worked so hard to get this life for us but coming home to Janice, the main housekeeper and the other helpers is sad since I rarely get to them my parents home with them travelling for work every so often. I get running a multi-million company is hard but they tend to forget about my little brother, Westley and I since my older sister is in college in London.

Parking the car in the driveway, I went to open the door and got crushed into a big bear hug by Westley.
'How was kindergarten, Westley?'
'It was okay, V'. 'I missed you'. 'Why are you home so early today?' Westley asked me. So I explained that I let the cheer team home early and came straight home instead of going to the library to finish an assignment for English Literature.
'Do you want to do something today Westley?'
'Mmmmm, can we go get some ice-cream?' Westley asked.
'Sure, grab some shoes, while I get your booster seat kiddo'.
'Yay!!!!!!'. He is loud, that it echoes all over this house since its only us and the housekeepers.

'Janice', I said to the intercom by the front door, 'Me and Westley are going out for some ice-cream, can you kindly prepare dinner for us for when we come back'.
'Yes, Violet. Not a problem. Drive safely you two'. Janice said.
'Will do'.

Westley ran over to the car as I was about to put in the booster seat and kept saying ice cream ice cream over and over again. Such a funny child. If only our parents will pay more attention to him.
On the way to the ice cream parlor, Westley keeps saying how he misses mum and dad and that he wants them to come home to play with him again. I let out a big sigh as I know that won't be happening soon. You see, Westley treats me like his parent at the same time since it has been me and Janice, the housekeeper that has raised him since he was a baby. I feel so bad for him, but even if I tell our parents this, they will say keep promising that they will come home soon and I don't want to give Westley the expectations and make him feel disappointed. I will do mostly anything for him.

Upon arrival to the ice cream parlor, Westley was so excited that he was literally jumping in his booster seat. As we made our way inside, he squished his face to the glass and was almost drooling with all the ice-creams.
'What would you like to order, Westley?'
'Can I have a hot chocolate fudge sundae, please V.'
'Sure, kid'. 'Find us a seat and I'll order the ice-cream for us'.
Watching Westley walk towards the booth by the corner end of the shop, I made my way to the cashier where a teenage boy, maybe a sophomore kept staring at me. Oh crap, I actually forgot I'm in my cheer outfit still and the logo of my school on it. Just great. Usually, I change when I go outside so people don't tend to see me in short outfits and know I'm a cheerleader. Ugh.. oh well.
'Can I please get two hot chocolate fudge sundaes and two bottled water'.
He kept staring at me like I'm a Greek goddess or something.
'Um, hello?'
'Oh, sorry for staring. Your just so pretty and I have admired you during game days when your on the field'. '
'Ah, I see. You go to our school then.'
'Yes, I do. I'm a freshman, just transferred from a different state. My name is Dean. Nice to meet you'.
'Well nice, to meet you too. I'm Violet, and I'm a senior. I hope you won't get to bored in this town of ours, I know its small but we are mighty. Lol'.
'The town seems nice and the people are quite friendly, so don't worry about that Lu.. I mean Violet.'
'Anyway, so your order will be two hot chocolate fudge sundaes and two waters. That will be 10dollars'.
Lu.. Mmmm.. that's very strange. Wonder what he was gonna say.
Giving 20dollars, 'keep the change Dean'.
'Oh wow, thanks Violet. I'll bring your order to the booth in a flash'.

As I made my way to the table with my brother, I can't help but think what he was about to say just a while ago before he remembered about his job.
Seeing Westley happy, made me happy so didn't matter as the ice-creams came literally in a flash. I just sat down and he had it prepared already!? Today just gets weirder as the day goes.

After we enjoyed out ice-creams, we made our way home while listening to some music that Westley likes which is more on from TV shows which I didn't mind. Saved me from thinking about the lily and the note that is still in my bag from school and about the ice-cream parlor.
When we parked the car in the garage, Westley jumped out of the car with his sugar rush with me trying to catch him to calm him down so he can shower and eat dinner before bed time.

Wrestling Westley to shower and eat dinner, I have finally got him to sleep while I walked outside to the back of the house to go in the woods for a peaceful walk. I love living here sometimes cause I always loved the woods and I love how the sound of nature calls me and the smell of it too.
Sitting by my favorite tree, looking up in the night sky always helped me to relax when I tend to overthink about life and school. Seeing the moon shine brightly with the twinkling of the stars, I started to hum Claire de lune, and imagine if my life was a fairytale once again when suddenly I heard the rustling of the bushes.

Being the curious person I am, I started to walk towards the area when I caught a glimpse of bright blue eyes and fur!? What startled me wasn't even the fur but the bright blue eyes that I keep seeing in my dreams and on the field that day and is staring at me since I stopped humming. It can't be Orlando fairytales are not real and we are living a reality I kept telling myself as I started to walk backwards afraid that the creature would come out and eat me.

Hearing a whine from the creature, I felt so sorry like a mother felt towards its cub for leaving it alone. Ugh... I gonna regret this so I walked backwards to the tree and sat and started to hum again while looking in the direction of the bush, stealing glimpses of the creature that started to relax once again when I started to hum the tune. Can't believe this creature likes my humming I thought. When I finished humming, I glimpsed towards the bush and saw the creature staring back at me. I felt like my heart was about to explode like I felt this strong connection towards it and I couldn't understand why. So I did the next best thing after I saw that the creature was a werewolf, I ran back to the house.

Running back, I heard the howl of the wolf like it was crying that I left. Impossible right but I also felt like my heart was breaking too. Maybe I'm imagining things like always.
