CHAPTER TEN
dance with me

▀▄▀▄▀

SORTING THE BOOKS in the correct place felt like hours but in reality, only seven minutes had gone by. Looking around, you notice quite a few books are already been misplaced and you knew for sure it wasn't either the two of you.

You thought maybe to bend the rule since she won't notice the difference unless she has eyes of a hawk and is willing to spend her time to check only for it to be misplaced by some other student.

In your peripheral vision, you saw Suna walk towards you, fidgeting with his fingers and struggling to hold eye contact. Nothing in his hands. You glance over to the table where there was a huge pile is now cleared.

"They look heavy, let me— um, help you out."

He eyed the stack of books you were carrying, trying to take some off your arms.

"Nah I'm good, now shoo." You stepped away from him, resting your chin on the stack.

"It's the least I can do, please." He urged, getting a better grip of half of the stack.

"I told you, I'm go—"

The sound of the books hitting the ground made you let out a deep sigh while Suna muttered a couple of "shit" and "sorry", cleaning up the mess. You crouched down with annoyance written all over your face as you picked them up.

This time he left you alone. He sagged against the wall, stressing again. Every idea he thought of backfired and just got you more irritated.

Hiding in between the rows of the shelf so that the librarian couldn't see him slacking, he decided to ask for some advice, to of course from most level-headed guy he knew.
