I Cant Hear

TW: Panic attack (it might not be accurately described, please bare with me but if something bothers you because its too wrong then please let me know i'll change it, I made the attack in one paragraph so if you wanna still read but avoid it)

Bakugou woke up in the hospital. When he woke he expected to be able to hear the beeping monitor or even his own voice when he yelled out in surprise. Sadly nothing was received by his ears. The distant sound of footsteps didn't. The sound of the hospital room door being slammed open didn't. Nor did the urgent sounding voices were being registered. He knew his quirk would make him go deaf but that was in 35-40 years. He would be number 1 by then and be able to retire.

Bakugou started to have a panic attack.

His throat felt as if it was constricting him and his breathing. His breathing got harder to try and keep up. His heart was pounding hard. harder than he's ever felt it. Maybe close to a very intense training session. For some reason he also felt he was in danger. Suddenly a hand was placed on his shoulder. Out of reflex he put his hand on top of the other and released a massive explosion. It may have been over kill to others but it seemed necessary to him. After that Bakugou looked at his shaking hand and then looked around for an exit. The people in the room he didnt recognize. they all wore menacing white coats. All of the sudden he leaped up on shaky legs, ripping out his IV and heart monitor cord. He ran as fast as he could, nearly tripping a few times until he noticed a very familiar greenette.He raced to the greenette before wrapping his arms around him.

"Kacchan?" Midoriya said. Bakugou didn't respond. He knew the greenette said something but he was trying to focus on being in the familiarity instead of the unknown. Midoriya with a confused face wrapped his arms around. Bakugou leaned into the hug. If they're in danger, his boyfriend will make sure to protect him. He almost felt disoriented.

"Thank Kami you found him!" said a doctor as he huffed and puffed. He was not used to chasing patience down hallways, a fast one at that. The doctor tried to reach for the blond but Midoriya pulled him closer. "I need to take him back to his room."

"I'll take him but would you mind enlightening me on why he's running from it as if someone tried to kill him?" Bakugou had calmed down now. He was tired and his muscles were tense. His hand was in Midoriya's and he seemed to not wanna let go any time soon.

"We don't know, he woke up then his heart monitor started to go off. He didn't seemed to be able to hear us though..." the doctor was in a very thoughtful pose. His hand on his chin. His other supporting his elbow. Midoriya frowned and gently pat Bakugou's arm. Which gained his attention.

"That doesn't sound like Kacchan..." Midoriya mumbled. Bakugou looked and stared a the youngers lips. He was saying stuff the blond couldn't hear. What did he say? Was it to him? Was it important? His mind slowly started to panic and over think with simple questions. Midoriya noticed and slowly rubbed Bakugou's arm. The blond began to focus on the familiar rubbing. Its something he used to do to wake up the blond. He would gently rubbed his arm then proceed to his shoulders to try and release tension his the blond tense shoulders.

"We think he may have lost his hearing. He did take a big hit from that massive explosion, not to mention he was really close to it compared to the rest of you. He was also already slowly going deaf due to his quirk."

"Kacchan baby..." Midoriya said as he moved the blond to look at him. "can you hear me?"

Bakugou looked at the others lips. What did he say? A confused and frustrated face was placed on his cute face. He shook his head very hesitantly. Is this what he wanted? Midoriya sighed. He gently leaned up and gave his lover a kiss on his cheek.

'Its ok Kacchan we'll get through this' Midoriya signed. Bakugou responded with an ok. Of course both learned sign language when they learned the blond was gonna go deaf. They sometimes used it to argue so people wouldn't have to think Bakugou was abusive. He was a rather loud male and assumptions would be made. Ones they wanted to avoid.
