Eren had just woken up from a nap during a trip to his new home. It all happened so fast he can still remember the sweet voice of his mother calling him down for dinner.
"Are we there yet old man?" Asked Eren
"For the millionth time. NO!" Said Grisha
Eren grew board of the car ride which had taken forever.
"How about we get off for a quick stretch, this bummy car is really uncomfortable."
The car came to a unexpected quick stop causing eren to jump out his seat a little.
"Sounds like a great idea I can take a few minuets without you yapping your mouth"
They both exited the car and came across a little gift shop in the woods.
"What is this place doing here, its the middle of nowhere!" Said Grisha
"Shut it old man, its better then your crummy car!" Eren started laughing
They both entered the gift shop extremely surprised with what they saw.
"This place is creepy and beat down" eren whispered
"No kidding, I've never seen so many furs and animal skeletons in one place"
"Now I kinda prefer the car" Eren chuckled
As they were ready to walk out something caught Eren's attention.
"Wow I've never seen a charm like that before"
"Hey maybe it would be nice to get your sister a gift" as Grisha pat eren on the back.
That's when Eren remembered his sister...Mikasa. Eren liked the charm, it had a soft gray color that the sunlight slightly shined on. He wanted the charm, but didn't want that to be the gift He gave mikasa. He looked around and saw a red scarf. He then took both the scarf and charm from the shop, he didn't wanna steal them so left some cash on what he thought was a counter. He didn't mind if the shop was abandoned, he was just happy with his new charm.
"Say, Eren? Why do you keep staring at that thing?"
"Oh..um it just has a really nice color to it" A color that Eren will never want to forget. As Eren and his dad got inside the car eren put the scarf inside a bag. The day went on as they arrived to a house with many windows, although it didn't look big on the outside the inside was pretty spacey. Eren got the bag with mikasa's present.
"Welcome to your new home eren."
Eren couldn't help but feel a bit hurt..he never wanted to leave his old home, his mother, all his friends, his school. As Eren stepped threw the door all he can feel was his life getting squeezed out.
"Mikasa! Let go! I- Can't breath!"
"Eren! Its been so long its great to see you!!"
"Hey I got something for you" eren took the scarf out and threw it in her face.
"I heard it gets really cold here around winter"
"Thank you eren..." Said mikasa as she continued to hug him
"Hey I know its been a while but mind giving me some space mikasa" eren started to chuckle
"Here let me show you your room" mikasa pointed eren up the stair way
"Its the last room down the hall to the left"
Eren took his stuff to his room and threw himself on the bed.
"Damnit I start school tomorrow"
Grisha started knocking on the door
"Hey eren can I come in"
"Uh yeah go ahead old man"
Grisha entered
"Eren I just wanted to say I know that getting used to this new life is going to take time and its fine take as much time as you need but know that your sister ne-" geisha was cut off
"I get it okay, I know that our aunt died leaving mikasa alone. I know that mikasa needs our help right now. Its fine I know the lecture your gonna give me, I don't mind leaving my life behind for family. I can always start a new one this time my sister will be in it am I right?" Eren gave a smile
"Wow you sure are your mothers son alright" grisha patted eren on the back
"Get some sleep you start school tomorrow so be on your best behavior" grisha cleared his throat "I don't want to get any unexpected calls like before" he raised his eye brows as he looked at eren
"Hahaha alright old man"
