after classes, I dragged myself to detention with professor snape. I opened the door and slumped in my seat and looked across to Draco smiling at me with a book in his hands. *Whack* I jumped up and looked at snape holding a dusty book, "Miss y/l/n, Please read page 238 aloud." "yes, professor." I glanced back at Draco rolling his eyes reading his book, I turned and cleared my throat and began to read. after about 15 minutes of reading out loud, my throat became dry and I reached for pumpkin juice in my bag. " no drinking in my class miss y/n'' ''oh- my apologies'' I looked down at my book. ''read the rest on your own..'' As I read for 10 more minutes Draco kept tapping his fingers and humming while flipping through pages of his books. ''Draco you are excused" He began to pack his things and I turned back to Draco, smiling I waved and he nodded towards the exit. I shrugged at him as if to say "ill be there in a bit." Snape cleared his throat " I hope you both learned your lesson, I am giving you both extra assignments and hope to see you two paying attention in class. You both are excused." He frowned and turned back to a table with bubbling potions.
