Five."Wilbur."
The voice was calm and steady. And the speaker came bearing more TNT.
"Dream."
Wilbur responded with the first speaker's name, his voice shaky and unsure. He was so close, so close to ending everything...Tommy's blue-eyed gaze flashed through his head.
Then Tubbo's.
Then Fundy's eyes, cheerful and bright golden-brown.
I promised I'd keep them all safe.
How did I fail them all?
How did they all fail me?
How much longer will I hurt?
Why can I not end it so simply?
He imagined darkness, endless darkness, and found the idea soothing.
Soon.
This would all be finished soon.
Wilbur turned around. Dream was as blank as ever, the smiley mask hiding his true emotions. But his voice hid an undercurrent of sinister intentions as he said, "Wilbur, I've brought you more TNT." He dumped a stack of the explosives on the ground, then melted away into the shadows.
More TNT.
More, more, more.
It was never enough.
He needed more.Wilbur stared at the pile of TNT, his breathing growing louder and more irregular. It blurred before his eyes, tears dripping off his cheeks. More. More. More.
There was so much. So much TNT.
It was scarlet, vermillion, cerise, carmine. It was red, like blood. Blood would stain the ground as the TNT went off. His blood.
It was almost over.
He took a dagger from his pocket, slid the blade across his palm ever-so-slightly, only just breaking the skin. Blood trickled out, and he felt nothing, only satisfying pain.
Almost over.

Four.Tubbo was scared. Of course he was scared.
But he forced himself to stand tall as he entered Pogtopia, where he knew Wilbur must be.
