𝚈𝚞𝙶𝚒𝙾𝚑! 𝙳𝚞𝚎𝚕 𝙼𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝙾𝚗𝚎 𝚂𝚑𝚘𝚝𝚜

𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞

It was the Battle City finale duel, Yami against Yami Malik. Mayumi was in the audience despite herself still weak against a powerful Shadow Game with side effects on her she didnt care. This was her brother's duel and she wanted to witness it.

As they all gathered at the top of the tower, Mayumi looked at Yami.

"Good luck, onii sama." Mayumi said smiling as she was seen to stand a bit close to Seto. Yami and Yugi looked at their sister and noticed it as well but nodded with a brief smile. "Thanks Mayumi. Be careful as well, sister." Yami said seriously. Mayumi smiles.

"Of course." Mayumi said just as seriously. Then a maniac cackle was heard.

"Say your goodbye Pharaoh cause this will be your last duel!" Malik said with his usual evil voice. All of them except for Kaiba glared at Malik. Gently, Mayumi put a hand on her Bracelet and watched as the duel started between Malik and Yami.

𝘐 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨... Mayumi thought slightly and watched as the duel began.

As the duel did begin with the signal, everyone gasp.

"Its a Shadow Game." Tristan said seeing as darkness surrounded the dueling platform. Kaiba stood unaffected arms crossed and watched the duel continue on. When Malik started laughing in the first few minutes of the beginning of the duel everyone got a bad feeling.

Yami glared at Malik. "What are you laughing about, Malik!"

Malik cackled evilly. "Look to your right Pharaoh."

Yami wad confused at first until from the crowd he heard Mokuba yell as they noticed first. "Mayumi!"

Yami gasped and looked to the right seeing Mayumi on the same cross as the good Marik.

"Mayumi!" Yami called out as Mayumi woke up suddenly, gasping as she was in the dueling field.

"What the!?" Mayumi squeaked as she tried to activate the Bracelet's purification power, gritting her teeth to concentrate.

From the audience the crowd was surprised. Even Kaiba even though he doesnt show it, he clenched his hands as his arms was across his chest. Glaring hard at Malik. Mayumi was just between him and Tea when they realized too late Malik was gonna involve Mayumi in this duel.

Malik smirked evilly and spoke.

"Sorry, Princess but your Bracelet is powerless in this dark realm I control" Malik said with laughter commanding his monster to attack Yami to lose life points. Mayumi felt that pain too.

"Mayu!" Yami called out. Mayumi shuts her eyes from pain as she grits her teeth.

"Concentrate on the duel! I'm fine!" Mayumi said seriously as Yami saw the serious look on his sister, he nodded and concentrated on the duel.

Everyone was speechless at Malik's harshness.

"Isnt she weak to a powerful Shadow Realm?" Duke spoke. Then Kaiba spoke coldly,

"I thought that matching Bracelet can protect her from this?" Kaiba asks in the coldest way but deep inside he is worried. That was what Ishizu said when he first met her, Mayumi would be safe as long as she has the damned accessory.

"She would be but the darkness is too much for her Bracelet and stamina." Ishizu said worriedly. Kaiba rolled his eyes and scoffed, arms crossed.

"No need to be insensitive Kaiba." Duke said pissed but Kaiba ignored them and watched the duel. Kaiba ignored them and just watched the duel.

In the last moments of the duel, Yami managed to win with Marik going back to normal as well. As the Shadow Game ended Mayumi was back to normal as well, she knelt down coughing.

"Mayu!" Yami went to her and knelt down beside her sister.

Kaiba watched with his usual expression but his glare was towards the Bracelet looped around her wrist. Marik was back to normal and went to the two siblings who spoke about the memories of the Pharaoh and the use of the Millennium Items. Mayumi calmed down the coughing as she stood up with Yami's help.

"Does Mayumi have to be involved in this Marik?" Yami asks. Marik looked at them sadly.

"Yes, Pharaoh. There are some memories is also sealed within the light of the Bracelet as well." Marik said.

Kaiba listened and frowns. Mayumi blinks surprised and looked down at the Bracelet. "I'll do my best to help." Mayumi said with a smile towards her brother. Yami still looked unsure but agreed anyways.

As soon as everyone was alright, Kaiba warned them about the explosion of the Duel Tower that everyone decided to run to the blimp. Mayumi was late to jump, the other boys jumped ahead.

"Mayu come on!" Joey called out with Yugi. Mayumi was athletic for sure in Domino High, sprinting, she jumped as the blimp was off the air and grabbed onto the bar of the blimp and held onto it. Yugi pulled her into the blimp as they all headed back to Domino City. Then from outside the window, they saw Kaiba and Mokuba riding their own ride which was a Blue Eyes jet.

"That jerk!!" Joey exclaimed angrily glaring as Kaiba just flew pass the blimp. Mayumi watched from the window as Seto flew away. Yugi looked at Mayumi seeing her silence.

"You need to tell him, sooner or later." Yugi said to Mayumi. Mayumi looked at him.

"I chose later." Mayumi said honestly, the others looked at Mayumi, they already knew that Mayumi likes Kaiba and decided to act earlier in the start of Battle City giving him a Happy Lover card but it didnt work out that way. Roland, who was Kaiba's personal guard listened to them out of curiosity but also confusion on who they meant.
