Mayumi finished her studies in Domino High and is attending the new dueling arena set up by Kaiba with Gia.

"Are you really going?" Gia asks Mayumi as they walked to the arena. Mayumi hums.

"I am. Kaiba literally went to look for the Puzzle and..." Her gaze shifted to the non powered Millennium Bracelet. "And I got a bad feeling."

Gia blinks and looked at the Bracelet then sighs. "Bad feeling is? Kaiba might see you in the crowd?"

Mayumi blushed lightly as her hair framed her face with the fake glasses. "Zip it, Gigi!"

Gia giggled as they entered the arena. Mayumi had the urge to wear her duel disk, the one she hasnt used in years since Atem left. Still, she wore it and stood with the crowd and watch Yugi duel against Diva first.

Then afterwards, Kaiba came to the stage. Gia elbowed Mayumi with a teasing smile, Mayumi blushed darkly.

"Stop it!" Mayumi said glaring at Gia who just giggled and hugged her best friend and watch the duel between Yugi and Kaiba but as Yugi put the last two pieces of the Puzzle, Mayumi felt her Bracelet pulse suddenly and she glance down at it with confusion and worry.

"Whats that?" Gia spoke seeing the sudden Cube appear on the stage. Mayumi saw it as well and gulped. "I dont like this.." Mayumi whispered.

Gia looks at Mayumi surprised. "What the hell are you planning?"

Mayumi activated her Duel Disk. "Stay here, Gigi." Mayumi said seriously and suddenly ran to the other side of the stage. Gia gasped.

"Mayumi!" Gia called out since Diva turned evil from the Cube and Yugi and Kaiba were now dueling him.

"Keep your paws off our dimension, Diva!" Kaiba said.

"Yeah we'll take you down. Together." Yugi said activating his duel disk.

"Make it 3!" Mayumi suddenly jumped on the stage, her Bracelet glowing as well.

Yugi and Kaiba was surprised -though Kaiba didnt show it unlike Yugi- Yugi looked at his sister and her Bracelet.

"Glad you can join the came, Mayumi Muto." Diva cackled evilly. Mayumi glared as she stood between Yugi and Kaiba.

Gia moved to a spot near the stage. "Mayu! Dont you dare lose!" Gia said with worry.

Soon, the duel between Diva and the three started as well. It was totally brutal too even if Yugi's combo moves and Mayumi's own combo moves with Kaiba and Yugi didnt work.

"We need a plan here." Mayumi said glaring.

Diva declared an attack to Yugi. Kaiba stepped in.

"I activate the trap, go Crystal Avatar!" Kaiba said. Mayumi pressed a button on her duel disk.

"Activate magic card, Change of Heart!" Mayumi countered. Yugi gasped.

"No Mayu!" Yugi called out. Kaiba was surprised speechless.

Mayumi gulped before giving command. "Magician of Fate take the place of Crystal Avatar!" Mayumi closed her eyes as the attack went from Crystal Avatar to Magician of Faith. Yugi tried to reach out as the impact of the attack made some dusts fly around.

"Mayumi!" Yugi called out groaning from the gust impact. Mayumi yelped from the impact, sliding to the ground groaning.

"Hey!" Kaiba went to Mayumi, sapphire eyes wide but also shone with worry even if the expression was the same.

"Sis!" Yugi went over to them. Kaiba gently held her hand since Mayumi weakly reached out.

"..." She whispered the words to Kaiba, her confession before suddenly disappearing. Yugi's eyes widen.

"Mayumi!!"

Kaiba was speechless and as he opened his palm it was two rings in his palm. A Blue Eyes White Dragon Ring with a Dark Magician Girl ring in his hand. Yugi saw the rings as well. Both speechless as Diva laughed evilly since he got Mayumi down.

".. Why didnt I stop her.. Damn it!" Kaiba cursed.

Yugi looked at Kaiba. "She did it cause she loves you more than you know." Yugi said. "Its not your fault now.. Lets finish this duel and not waste the chance she gave us." Yugi added facing Diva confidently.

Kaiba looks at Yugi. "How long did you know?" He asks facing Diva as well. Yugi chuckles.

"Later." Yugi said seriously. Kaiba nods and held the rings in his hand.

When Kaiba and Yugi managed to beat Diva when they called upon Atem. Everyone eaten by the darkness of Diva returned, even Mayumi who appeared on the ground unconscious. Her right as she wore the Bracelet, it glowed a soft pulse as it usually does when Yugi would switch with Atem before.

"Sis!" Yugi called out seeing her appear back and Kaiba watched as Yugi went to his sister and he followed behind Yugi. As Mayumi woken up, she held her head as she sat up groaning.

In the spectators area, their friends was also there.

"Did they win?" Joey asks looking around. Gia glared at Joey.

"Of course they did, Joey!" Gia snapped at Joey. The others chuckled.

Yugi held out his hand and helped Mayumi to stand up as the Bracelet jiggled around her wrist. Then Kaiba was watching them afar as he put the rings in his pocket.

"You good, Mayumi?" Yugi asks his sister. Mayumi smiled back.

"I'm okay." Mayumi said.

The audience slowly woken up and watched the three on stage.

"Come over here, Mayumi." Kaiba spoke the usual coldness. Mayumi blinked surprised and unsure until Yugi went behind Mayumi and pushed her towards Kaiba.

Mayumi gasped surprised as she was pushed to Kaiba who held out his arms and pulled her in to a hug and suddenly kissed her.

The audience gasped surprised with Gia. Even Yugi was surprised when that happened, he didnt expect that.

Pulling away from the kiss, Mayumi blushed red and looked down as Kaiba hugged her slightly.

Gia and Tea fangirled as this left Joey, Tristan, Ryou and Duke speechless. Mokuba was cheering happily with Roland.

As it turns out, this part of their lives ended well.
