chapter thirteen

~third person pov~

It was the last day of their dating deal but they didn't want it to end just the company of each other made their lives so much happier

Especially for keith...

~flashback~

~keith's pov~

I was five years old at the time and I was at my daycare with all my friends!

I was playing with the colorful blocks with my best friend pico I swear he's the best!

He's eight years old three years older than me but we're still friends no matter what

Pico never talked about his past with me at all even if I begged him but it's okay I don't mind

Pico always made me smile and never made me feel sad and blue

"Hey keith? " Pico said looking my way holding a toy gun in his hands as I put down my blocks and look at him

"Yeah pico what is it? " I say smiling  as he smiles back lightly

"Will you always remember me like when we grow up will we still be friends? " He said placing him tiny hand on mine

"Of course! I'd never forget you pico your my best friend! " I said giving him a big hug smiling

He hugged me back as we giggled and started to play together as we usually do

(Little a/n rn umh so pico transfered from another daycare because of the school shooting and he wasn't able to learn a lot of stuff so that's why he's eight and in daycare

also since the shooting pico was scared of losing people in his life so getting attached to people really messed with his head)

Me and pico played together as the time passed by until some red head girl walked up to us she dressed in all black and she looked mad at me

"Why are you with pico he's mine! " She said making me crawl away slowly as pico looked up at the red head girl looked at him smiling

"What the heck! " Pico said hugging me as the red haired girl let out a small growl

"Let him go you belong to me! " She said but pico just held me tighter glaring at her

"Eat led Cassandra! " Pico shouted and shot his plastics bullets (nerf bullets)  hitting Cassandra multiple times even in the head to the point where two of them sticked to her head

"Now go away you meanie or else! " He said to Cassandra and she scurried off crying

"T-thanks pico! " I chimed hugging onto pico kissing his cheek seeing his face flush

"O-oh no problem... When we grow up I wanna marry you! " Pico chimed smiling

"Yeah I wanna marry you to! " I chimed "wait what's getting married?" I asked

"It's when you put a ring in sombodys finger and you stay together forever! " Pico exclaimed smiling

"Why not get married now? " I asked pulling out the ring pops from my pocket

"Yeah! " Pico said taking the ring pop opening and I did the same as as he took my hand and slipped the ring pop on my finger and I did the same

"To make sure we stayed married w-well have to kiss" He stuttered out as I giggled walking up to him and giving him a small kiss on the lips

"Now we're married! "

~third person pov~

Years going by when keith turned 13 pico and him parted ways pico turning famous and keith being the underdog

He had to face his abusive grand parents and a shitty living space for almost most of his life

Keith held on tightly to that ring pop not even eating it

He kept it well sealed and preserved and in his freezer

He always remembered pico he just tried to forget him and pretend he didn't know him but how could you forget him

He was his first kiss, married him, first best friend, protected you, makes amazing music, funny, coolest person keith knows, his idol and to tope it off

His crush

It was mentally and physically impossible to forget that infamous man and hard not to love him either

Keith was infuriated he wanted to forget him but he couldn't so he resorted to dating somebody else

So he dated Abby (let's pretend they dated for five years that's when keith turned eighteen)

Slowly keith fell down a hole of regret and sorrow and it soon enough he just did whatever

Taking self defense classes karate he decided he would take his anger out in the dojo then on his girlfriend

Yeah he was a good boyfriend he did everything to love that woman yet he didn't really love her....

And now here we are

Keith Conflicted by what he did maybe pico would be safe if he just got back with Abby but he felt happy with pico

So Keith knew what he had to do...

Rap battle his ex or- actually fight her she's skilled in hand to hand combat so it would be hard

And she could sing good but Keith would do it he would fight a girl for pico

Who said Keith wasn't that bitch
