The pounding noise of fist on door filled the Allais household while they were all going about their usual routines. Jamie was hunched over the desk that was in the corner of the room, writing furiously on a piece of parchment, probably sending a letter to his girlfriend. Lysandra was baking in the room next door however her loud singing could be heard from a mile away. Christian was in his private study, planning lessons for all of his students once the summer was done. Delilah was sitting in an armchair in the same room Jamie was in, she had a red book in her hands, her eyes scanning over the words.

Jamie cursed at the sound of the knocking on the door, his ink spilling over when he flinched. He took his wand out and began charming all of it away from him. Lysandra's singing stopped and she danced into the room where her two children were.

"Expecting visitors?" she asked, her eyebrows raising up.

Both children shook their heads in response and Lysandra scrunched her face in confusion as she went to open the door and see who it is. As soon as her hand even opened the door handle slightly, a loud bang erupted and Nicholas Silva was staring at her with wide eyes and a bright grin covering his face. Mimi was behind him, her eyes shone with excitement and she stumbled on top of him as the two of them entered the house.

"GUESS WHO'S GOING TO THE QUIDDITCH CUP SMART ASS?!" screamed Nick, not bothering to use proper etiquette in front of Lysandra who stared at Delilah's two friends in horror.

"Good afternoon Mrs Allais, I apologise for Nicholas's behaviour," Mimi said, nudging Nick aggressively who turned to Lysandra and bowed, his lips quirking into a smirk as he held eye contact with Delilah who was covering her mouth to stop herself from laughing at him.

"Truly sorry for barging in, Mrs Allais, but my mother's just acquired spare tickets to the Quidditch World Cup and we'd love to take Delilah with us. If that's alright with you, of course," Nicholas said, his bright smile clearly winning Lysandra over.

It was something that Nick had been blessed with. The perfect, charming smile that came with the politeness of what was being taught at Beauxbatons. He could charm his way out of everything and probably make people believe anything with just one word or smile. It wasn't fair.

"The Quidditch World cup? Dee doesn't even like Quidditch... You should take me instead!" exclaimed Jamie getting out of his seat but Delilah pushed him back into the chair and made her way over to her friends.

"Are you joking? I'd love to go! Mother, please can I go?" she said, turning towards Lysandra with her hands clasped together in front of her.

Lysandra raised an eyebrow, "I mean... I don't see why not..."

"YES!" exclaimed Nick, Delilah and Mimi at the same time while Jamie let out a loud groan and then muttered a few insults under his breath as he stalked up the stairs and into his room.

It wasn't unusual for Nick and Mimi to barge into Delilah's house, in fact they did it quite often. They always spent at least two or three weeks of the holidays couch-surfing at each other's house, switching between the three. It was definitely the best time of the entire holidays and Delilah doubted this time would be any different, only including the Quidditch World Cup.

Delilah hardly packed anything since she knew that Mimi would've packed her entire wardrobe and so she could just borrow some of her clothes. It was normally like that anyway even when Delilah had clothes because Mimi insisted that her styles was not fashionable enough.

The three of them headed to Nick's house using the floo powder and when they arrived at the Perez household, Nick's mother showered Delilah with compliments and kisses.
