a/n's POV

It's been about 2 weeks since Maddie started going to school, she was always excited to go to school for the first week or so but that all changed when she met someone she wished she didn't meet. 

~Flashback~ ~Week 1 Friday~

Maddie's POV

I was spending my recess chatting with Areum near my table in our classroom when suddenly someone opened the door quite harshly and went towards me and Areum with a piercing glare. (a/n : they are the only ones in the classroom since the other classmates went outside) 

So you're the one that got adopted by my oppas huh? She said as she yanked my hair. I furrowed my brows in confusion and pain. Who are your oppas? I asked her and she just laughed like a maniac. NCT Dream are MY oppas, she said as she emphasizes the my. I was about to say something but Areum beat me to it, hey what's your problem huh? Areum said as she stood infront of me protectively. Oh, so the one that got adopted by my oppas is weak huh, so pathetic. She said and smirked once she saw tears polling my eyes. Suddenly it was like the world was on our side as the bell rang signaling that recess is over. 

The girl suddenly pushed Areum and grabbed my neck harshly, choking me as I gasped. This isn't over got that, she said and I just nodded and then she released her grip around my neck and went out. Mads are you okay? Areum said as she got up and went to me. I'm fine, what about you? I asked her concerned since she was pushed. I'm okay, she said and then the class started filling in so we went to our respective seats and waited for the teacher. 

~After school~ 

Still Maddie's POV

I was sitting on the bench near the school gates waiting for one of my daddies to come pick me up when suddenly, my hair was pulled and I was dragged to an empty classroom at the very back of the school. 

As the one pulling my hair finally let go, I saw that it was the same girl that pushed Areum at recess. I told you that it wasn't over, why so shocked huh? Pathetic piece of trash. She said as she glared at me and yanked my hair again making me wince in pain. Looks like your so-called daddies aren't here to come save you huh, they forgot about you. She said as she let go of my hair and slapped my face making my head jerk to the side. 

Tears started pooling my eyes as she continued saying that my daddies forgot about me and that they didn't love me as she also slapped me and punched me a few times. 

After a while, she was out of breath and I was laying on the floor weak and bruised everywhere. I thought that she was finally done but then she grabbed my face harshly and made me face her. Remember this, as long as you are still alive and my oppas so-called daughter. I will NOT stop, got that trash? She said and I just nodded slightly as she let go and went out of the classroom leaving me alone in the classroom, weak. 

As I finally got the strength to stand up, I made my way outside slowly and once I made it outside, I saw baba and papa standing there looking at me for a second before running to me once they saw all the bruises. Baobei what happened?! Baba said as he squatted down to be eye level with me. I opened my mouth to say something but then I started getting flashbacks of my past making me break down in tears. 

Noticing my tears, papa pulled me into his embrace rubbing his hand up and down my back trying to soothe me as I gripped onto his shirt crying into the crook of his neck. Not long after, I fell asleep tired from crying and the beating. 

~Next day~ ~Saturday~

I woke up my body feeling sore and heavy, I tried sitting up but failed as I was far too weak. Suddenly the door opened revealing all my daddies seeming shocked yet relieved that I was awake. 

Once I saw them, I started sniffling which alarmed my daddies as bubba and bubby came rushing to me. Shush your okay now, your okay now Yeonie, bubby's got you shush. Bubby said as he pulled me into his embrace his warmth comforting me instantly. I-I, I started but choked on a sob. It's okay baby, take your time. Daddy said as he caressed my cheek. D-Daddies love Maddie right? D-Daddies no leave Maddie right? I asked them as I remembered what the girl said. Of course we love you aegi, we would never ever leave you. Never, dada said and smiled his eye smile making me relax a bit. 

Never? I asked as they all smiled and nodded. I love you daddies, I said cutely making my daddies bust their uwus. We love you too baby/aegi/baobei/yeonie/mimi/princess/angel. They all said at the same time making me giggle. I was finally relaxed and happy but then baba asked me something that made the smile on my face fall. What happened to you baobei? He asked as the others nodded feeling curious. You were covered in bruises when we went to pick you up, what happened? Papa asked again making me feel nervous. I-I uhm, I said and trailed off.

~End of flashback~ ~Present time~ ~Week 3 Tuesday~ ~NCT's Dorm~

Maddie's POV

I was sitting on the couch in the living room with my bad beside me waiting for one of my daddies to be done so he can take me to school. Honestly, I was dreading to go to school since there is you know who and yes I did not tell my daddies or Areum about it. Ready to go baby? Daddy said as I snapped out of my daydream and nodded getting up and following him out the door with my backpack of course. Another day of hell, great. I thought in my head as the car started.
