~After the news thing~
a/n's POV
NCT Dream were just chilling in their baby girl's hospital room filled with several gifts and flowers from fans and other artists. It has been about a week, two weeks almost since their baby girl is awake and they're just praying that she wakes up soon as they miss their ball of happiness dearly.
The doctor said the reason she hasn't woken up yet is because she damaged her head slightly but thankfully she shouldn't suffer from memory loss which they are very relieved for. Oh and as for Allison Lee, they filed a lawsuit against the girl and her family which didn't really end pretty but it is what it is.
~Time skip cause I'm losing my mind~
It is now nighttime when the group have just finished discussing with the doctor and well, the doctor said that if she doesn't wake up by the end of the week then they would take her off life support.
They all went back to their dorms (except for Jaemin since they all agreed to at least have one member there in case she wakes up and it's Jaemin's turn today) to sleep and once they were awake again, they instantly made their way to the hospital again and this cycle just continued over and over until the last day of the week.
They were just waiting anxiously for Maddie to wake up and when the doctor came, they lost hope. They asked for a few minutes to spend with her and the doctor gladly said yes and left. They just started talking to her as if she was awake and just reminisce their time together and when the time was up, they suddenly heard a small groan.
Their eyes went wide as they all saw her sitting up on the hospital bed, awake. M-Maddie? They all said at the same time making her look at them. Daddies? Why am I here? She asked confused and then they all just ran over to her crying while hugging her tightly.
After a few minutes, they finally calmed down and explained to the clueless girl. You scared us big time aegi, Jeno said. Please don't do that again. He continued and Maddie just smiles before hugging all of them to the best she can and said, I will never leave you, not now at least. Then the doctor just did a final check up before she was clear to go home and they couldn't be happier to know that their baby girl is now awake and safe with them.
