"Always.."

She sat quietly on the ground. The tiefling didn't know what to really do anymore. So much had happened that she didn't really know what to think. Zenla went and laid on her back, her arms crossed behind her head in a headrest. Staring up at the house in which the group had decided to stay in for the night. They had a long day of travelling for awhile. Not that she really minded, traveling was a good distraction from whatever went on in the outside world.
At least to her. She hated being stuck in her own head. The ivory white skinned tiefling lifted one of her arms out from under her head, going and lifting it over her forehead, a soft hum escaping from her. She didn't want to make a lot of noise. Everyone except for the dragonborn companion of theirs should've been asleep. He wanted to do first watch, and Zenla wasn't complaining about that in the slightest.
As long as it wasn't her.
She wasn't tired in the slightest. She didn't know why. Maybe it was because of earlier events that happened with that vampire, or maybe with Voyager, another one of their companions, had suddenly started breathing ice and a weird green gas out of his mouth. It was quite entertaining to watch. Though, Heskeniv, the dragonborn, was kind of a party pooper. Didn't seem to enjoy anything fun.
Her white colored hues glanced over in his direction for a moment, before back up at the ceiling. Oh well, her thoughts on the two didn't really matter anyways. She honestly was surprised to have gotten to stick around this long. Though, it did irritate her a bit that her twin sister was here too. The only thing that came to mind when she thought about her twin, was their fight some years ago.
She knew Authoria hadn't forgotten about it. Zenla certainly hadn't. It's all she could think about when Thoria came to mind. It was funny to think how the two of them had been more closer when they were younger. What had torn them apart was probably ridiculous in Authoria's eyes. Zenla didn't doubt that for a moment. It had been stupid, she must admit. Though that didn't really change her thoughts or how she felt. Authoria was always the better sister. She was older, got all the attention. Anything she wanted.
Right in the palm of her hand..
That's how it had always been. Maybe Thoria didn't notice it. Maybe she was way to self-centered. Zenla wouldn't ever know. She didn't know if she ever wanted to know. Cause if Authoria did know and still kept Zenla in her shadow, Zenla didn't need that added to how she already felt. She didn't know if she could handle that, especially with Authoria close by. She wanted to finish what she had started all those years ago. Though she knew she couldn't ever go through with it. In the end, Authoria was still her beloved sister.
'Though..' Zenla's gaze seemed to dull as she thought about her and Authoria's fight. She went and sat up, her long purple hand falling over her shoulder in front of her. Having been taken out of it's large braid earlier in the night. She went and tucked her hair behind her ear as she reached out, quietly pulling her bag towards her. Inside it carried a crinkly and burned letter. She pulled out the piece of parchment, opening up the destroyed letter. Most of the words were gone. Fading from old age, or simply being destroyed along with the paper. Though one part seemed to be untouched.
