Chapter 36

Taehyung's POV:

"What on earth is happening right in the middle of the corridor?" A stern voice broke us apart.

I froze in my spot as my eyes went wide whereas Kookie just stood there expressionless.

"Mr. M-Min?" I stuttered out.

"Mr. Kim, in my office right now and Jungkook go for your practice." Siyuk said sternly.

"Mr.Min it's not his fault, I--"

"Jungkook! Not another word from you. Kim, my office, right now!" Siyuk said and walked past us.

I let out a shaky breath. Jungkook turned towards me and caught my hands softly.

"Baby, don't worry! Everything will be okay." Jungkook said, softly as he tucked my hair slowly behind my ears.

"I hope so, Kookie." I whispered placing my hand on his.

With that I slowly made my way towards Siyuk's office. Jungkook didn't want to leave me alone but he had no other option.

I knocked once and immediately heard a stern 'come in'.

"Mr. Min, I can e-explain.." I tried speaking, rather explaining even though there was nothing to explain.

"Take a seat, Kim." Siyuk said calmly.

I immediately sat down and looked at him nervously.

He sighed a bit and then looked up to face me.

"When you first came here, I knew you are a good person, Taehyung. I always overlooked everything you did and I didn't ever try to fire you because I knew how much you needed this. I told you that your paycheck would be good and I even provided you an apartment but in return I asked you just one single thing yet I didn't know you would not follow that only thing I asked for." Siyuk said with a soft voice.

"Mr. Min, I'm sorry but--"

"Taehyung, I know you're not truly sorry. When I asked you to stay away from them, I said so because it was for the boys. Dating scandals, random rumours and even people using them to get famous and power is so common that I don't let anyone near them." Siyuk said.

"But I didn't know them and no one knows me so--"

"Yes Taehyung, that's true but you know when you joined here, people obviously noticed it because believe or not, their fans are like FBI agents. They know each and every information about them and about their company as well. It's my duty to keep them safe and if by any chance anyone got to know that Big Show Entertainment hired an unmarried person, problems would be created." Siyuk said with a stern yet calm voice.

"Mr. Min, I just--"

"Taehyung, I know you are not just acquainted with them but extremely close to each one of them. Believe it or not, I keep an eye on all of them because they are like my own family. I may come off as really oblivious but trust me I am not." Siyuk said smiling a bit.

I was really shocked now. My eyes were wide open and I didn't know how to utter a single word.

"Now Taehyung, you remember the contract you signed?" Siyuk asked in a serious tone.

I simply nodded my head.

"So you know what I have to do now, right?" Siyuk asked softly.

I closed my eyes a bit tight as I felt tears brim in it knowing a bit too well what he has to do.

"Just before y-you do so, c-can I k-know why y-you didn't stop anyone of u-us before?" I asked with a shaky voice.

Siyuk just smiled and shook his head.
