Vani found his way to a castle, feeling drawn towards it. "Ventus... I feel like part of you is here..." He sighed then heard footsteps. He turned to see Sora, Donald, and Goofy. "You..."

Donald and Goofy screamed in surprised. ""Vanitas?!"" Sora looked at them, "you know this guy?" He had put his mask back on, because he needed to hide his face now. "I'm Vani. I'm not the guy you think I am. I already explained to Mickey." "You were with the King?" "Yes. I left while the door closed." "You were there with Riku?" "She did say Riku and your name. She didn't pass down a Keyblade like Terra did... so I'm guessing you gained a Keyblade a different way."

"Huh? She? Different way? You're not making any sense." He shook his head, "you don't know anything then. Alright. Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm here because I was drawn to someone I knew at some point. You though... I can feel him inside you." "Who are you talking about? I only had Kairi inside me, but I saved her." "Ventus." Donald and Goofy were shocked. "Ven is inside of Sora?" "Yes. You can't tell? Probably not, since I basically came from Vanitas."

"So you're not the same?" "No. I was light that formed inside Vanitas. Ventus and Angel fought him with Mickey, which made a reaction with his heart. I was extracted from him and became my own person. Angel called me Vani and she has been my friend ever since." Goofy looked around, "but where is she?" He looked down. "Gone... she disappeared and I'm now looking for her. But... I felt my heart hurt... probably from her getting hurt." "We never met Angel, but we did defeat a Heartless of the name Dev."

"Dev?" "It's short for Devil. She said she wanted to disappear. She thought she wasn't going to get what she wanted. She looked... heart broken, but she didn't have a heart." His eyes widened and he felt his chest. "That name... is the opposite of Angel... that was her... I felt her pain..." The trio looked sad. "I'm sorry... but she might come back. I came back from being a Heartless." He looked at Sora, "you did?" "Yeah. I'm sure Angel is back to normal."

He smiled a bit, "thanks." He turned around and opened the door to the castle. "It's all clear. Come on." The group soon entered and looked around. It was all white, no color hardly at all.

"Hey, ya think it's ok to barge in?" "But we gotta do it, if we're gonna find the king..." "You think Mickey is here?" He looked at Donald. "Something just told me he'd be here, ok?" "Oh! I know where we are now. This was something else... I gotta leave you guys for now. I have to find something, or someone." Sora looked at him and nodded. "I understand. Go ahead. Just be careful." He nodded then disappeared into the darkness.
