Rated M I guess***
I jolted awake to the harsh sound of pounding on my door. For a moment I was back in the bloody house, listening to the echoes of the pounding rattle the walls. But I recognized the rooms difference as the door opened. Kyro looking disheveled and wide eyed leaned into the room.
"Get dressed. We're being told to report urgently."
"Okay." I nodded and started sitting up in bed.
He closed the door in a rush. I processed the words as I got off bed and headed for my closet. This is a good chance we are being called into action. I ran to check out the window, the sky looked clear, no indication we were under immediate attack.
Regardless I got dressed as quick as I could, I stepped into the bodysuit, pulling it up past my waist, slipping my arms in, pulling the suit over my shoulders, and zipping all the way up to my neck. I laced and strapped my boots, I put on all my appropriate padding and strapped everything down tight. I affixed my weapons on my thighs and grabbed my helmet. I had a small wall mirror in my room, I used it to gel back my hair; I double checked my headband was in my helmet and I wished my plants goodbye.
Kyro set his eyes on me and didn't wait for me to catch up, I didn't take long. We exited the apartment and Kyro tucked the keys into his waist band pocket. His helmet was also in his hand, a ferocious look in his eyes.
"What's going on?" I asked as we strode to the elevator.
"I'm not sure. All fighters have been called in. Are you awake? It's going to be a long day."
My nerves boiled in my stomach but I didn't let any of it show on my face.
A sling ride was made short as we drove from our residence to the command. I was nervous about my return but everything has passing in frantic rushing no one noticed.
We were carted into a room besides the bay for fighter jets, there someone ran down the situation and instructed several groups to men. Kyro and I were assigned jet number six. We ran into places as twelve pairs were prepared to take off. Kyro entered first, then with a hand he pulled me up into the jet and shut the hatch. I sat in the second set for navigation, Kyro took up a second, slightly turn seat for machinery. I took several deep breaths as I went through turning on the engines and entering the given coordinates. I got us set up to the control base and more importantly to our jets leader, in jet one.
"Hey. Come ere a sec."
I turned, kryo was standing in a lower part of the back jet.
"What are you doing?"
"We've got time. Come ere."
My stomach hurt, my nerves bounced, but I stood up. When I was close enough Kyro caught my wrist and pulled me close, up against him and whispered to me.
"In case I don't get a chance later..."
Before I responded his warm hand cupped my cheek, the arm wrapped around me pulled me closer until our lips melted together.
The kiss wasn't fireworks, but it was rushed heat and soothing emotions.
When he released me I felt dizzy, I heard the planes count down as the took off from the hanger.

I sat down

I buckled

I filed this away for later

I focused on location and flying a fighter jet

I began pulling out of my spot

I took off...-
A fighter jet was harder to fly than the vessel; it ran at a faster speed and carried less weight. It was using an extreme amount of high stress and focus to not send us spiraling into space or exploding against another jet.
I whipped us around and Kyro shot for the smaller vessels making light threats on our planets protective boarders with small explosives.
"Four, locate two and get out of here!" The lead yelled into the coms.
I grit my teeth, paying attention to my flying and watching how Kyro shoots on a cam located just above my head on the wide windshield.
"Come on Kyro. One, there are three on my right!"
"On it."
I watched Kyro take a single shot at one of the enemies fighters, one burst like it imploded inside to out. The other fighter caught some of the black lash and lit up like a match.
I pulled back and around to realign Kyro with the three remaining fighters, between him and the lead they cleared and closed the gap.
"Good work , six!"
Kyro was silent in the seat next to me, his breathing was deep and eyes were trained down his scope.
I continued to weave us, Kyro would wait for them to be right under us, or to just pass them and take them out. We shot through already destroyed ships and jets, some of which holding our men. We cleared the circle and went around another time to see if anything else threatening was out there or coming. The lead told us to turn back once we had a third go, only 2/3 of the jets would be returning. Kyro was practically writhing, bouncing his leg as energy poured off of him.
I pulled the ship around, entered the coordinates for the base and and set the jet into action. Once we were within 50 yards of the building i flipped the switch for automatic touchdown. I sat back, looking over at Kyro through my helmet giving me oxygen. He leaned his head back on the headrest and let his arms lay at his side. The wheels for the jet flipped down as we touched ground.
I flipped back over to manual and guided the jet home to bay number six. I locked the wheels, powered everything down and recalled the blue of the stars moshing together during take off. I unbuckled and took my helmet off, my headband still keeping my hair tossed back. Kyro was up besides me and ripped his helmet off, under the tinted mask he was smiling, tight lipped.
"Flyings still good." He complimented me.
"You can still shoot straight."
My smile was challenging; but this was neither the place or the time. He opened the hatch and lowered himself down, then with extended arms he tightly held to my thin waist and helped me out of the jet.
There was as much a celebration as there was a mourning over the loss of agents. At the end of the day we signed up for this job know the risks, that chance is always something you take when you work with IGSS.
Kyro bumped helmets with several of the other suited agents looking proud. We all had to get cleared to leave but that didn't take too long; we were told our vessel would be done by tonight.
Kyro and I made it to the car eventually. My hair felt sticky and I felt a headache coming on because of it, I was glad to sit myself in the passenger seat. I was even gladder to pull into the parking garage, took the elevator up, and pushed into the front door.
Kyro closed the door, grabbed my wrist and spun me up against the drywall. His face was close to mine, inches apart, but I still tilted my face closer.
"We're still in gear." I whispered against his lips. "With weapons."
With an annoyed sigh he pushed away and pointed, "go, change."
I pushed away from the wall and slipped past him with ease. I bounded to my room, double checking the safety and storing my weapons. I practically jumped out of my padding and body suit. I instead left the room in my briefs and a large tee shirt.
Kyros door was open, he was waiting in the doorway only wearing his briefs and a black shirt. He shut the door behind him, clicked a button and tossed the remote. Loud music played from surround sound systems in the rooms corners.
"If you aren't comfortable with something, tell me, I'm not a mind reader."
I nodded against his plush blankets and felt every fear or anxiety slip away from me, like none of it mattered here and now. Kyro pressed his weight into one of his arms as he kissed me dizzy. His fingertips traced long caressing patterns on my thigh as his lips fought against mine.
He leaned his weight pressing flush against my body, his fingers trailed up to hold tight to my waist under my shirt, his hand hit against my flushed skin. His other hand took hold of my jaw, turning my head to disconnect the kiss, instead he nipped along my jaw and neck lightly.
I tangled one of my hands in his hair as I stifled a moan riding up my throat, my other hand grabbed along the muscle on his back. His grip tightened on my waist, fingers shaking to rub small circles in my hip.
I found myself unwinding, letting loose of the tension holding me tight. I let my body relax against his hands, let my thoughts and pleasure take over as my breathing quickened.
Kyro my lips again with an agonizing slow pace, sweetness dripped like honey in each kiss. There was a soft tenderness in the way kyros hands worked around my body. I let myself get carried away in every feeling, I felt every touch and heard every breath. I let myself get taken apart and priced together with care by kyros touch and taste.
I ran my fingers through his hair and down his back. I wanted so much more, but I knew I wasn't ready for anything near that now. What scared me is that Kyro reached this conclusion before I did, hence why he told me when to speak up. He already knew to be gentle.
"Hey-" I breathed.
He chased my lips not having heard me. I yanked in his hair a little getting him to look at me.
"Hey, thank you."
"Don't be stupid."
I smiled as I let him capture my face with his hand. He loved like he lived, a strong and stable force, an ever feeling being. I felt moved to be under his hands, under the weight of his body, on his bed. The music shook the walls in their slow base, I found myself getting lost in the sound and in Kyro.
